GT2 is actually designed to spin less than a GT3 but have more forgiveness. It’s to help slower speed players get more distance out of a fairway wood. That being said, I got fit into a GT2 set at 15.75° and swinging at 105mph I got 255 carry with it and rolled out to 275 with around 3300 spin. I don’t spin the ball much even with higher spinning balls.
The gt2 3 and 5 wood are the best woods ever ...period hands down the best !!! 245 carry 3 wood 225 carry 5 wood and the most forgiving club heads iver ever hit !
When will the hybrid ls be released, and is there a chance they could be different from the get lineup in regards to looks? I ask because I’m newer to this and hasn’t titleist release a new hybrid before that didn’t match the driver/wood lineup?
Price of these have got waaaaay out of hand driver 900 canadian plus tax Fairway woods 550 canadian totally over priced no reason for them to be priced like that its very frustrating
He hit the 3-wood not well, way too low. It was carrying about the same distance as the 7 wood. Going with a lower loft is not the way to go. Get steeper and increase the loft to maximize carry yardage. His 3 wood carry yardage should be 250-260 with his swing speed.
Yeah he plays with a super in to out path, which tends to mean low spin low launch. These tests are actually super useful for someone like me (~6 in to out). I play a 10.5 degree G400 Max @9, which he also tested against the G425. G400 won pretty handily (in my view, at least. Higher flight and more spin for a super low spin, low launch player means control). I’m very interested in this 7 wood. I’d be carrying a 9 G400 Max, 13.5 Callaway mini, 21 GT2 @20.25, 25 TSR2, then straight into 28 6 iron, which carries 190. Unusual but feels like cheating at every step 😂
Great feedback and thanks for watching. We know our tests aren't perfectly applicable to everyone because everyone has a unique swing, but glad to hear they're up your alley!

That that is incorrect. The GT three is actually the higher spinning model according to Titleist.
