I’ve also been coming to terms with the hard reality that our prayers don’t always line up with God’s will.

Congratulations Vance! What a wonderful thing to experience as a family. Chynna....to what you said about praying but concerned about the outcomes ....I too have those feelings...but when I look what he has brought me thru...2 abusive marriages and 2 bouts of Breast cancer. I know how wonderful he is! I had a blessing today from him...I wasn't able to make my cancer appointments for 10 months...stuck in the house because of bone on bone in my knees.....Anyway...the local Civitan club built me a beautiful ramp..1st blessing...(many others)..I received a good report today at the cancer hospital..my port flush was perfect...( wasn't blocked) and can still be used..I literally felt a peace was over me when I prayed about it.God is so good. Let's expect good things to happen and say Jesus out loud when those doubts creep in. The power of his name is wonderful...God bless you and your family!

Never ever ever give up praying it makes a difference. I had a friend who was a missionary in Indian and Afghanistan. He was brought into a room where a Christian woman was paralyzed and on the edge of death. The man with her said to him "She's as good as gone." My friend saw a vision right at that moment of her in the harvest field with her hands raised serving God. He started to declare over her God's will for her life and spoke the very vision over her in the name of Jesus. He then left. About 6 months later when he was back home in New Zealand he had a phone call that the women he prayed for was ministering for Christ in the mission field! Never ever give up praying even when it looks bad. Mike
I haven't met a Christian person who does not suffer. Jesus did suffer, I do suffer. Suffering cleans your soul.

@@martahernandez9784 Many times what we want to happen isn't what will bring us to a place where we are supposed to be. I am thankful that God didn't take my word in my prayer he took my need that motivated that prayer and fulfilled it, only in retrospect it amazes me.

Try my sweet sister.. to take baby steps giving up your suffering to Him. The grace he pours over us is unending... We all struggle. We are up and down... God is with us every step... Don't put your trust in chat rooms.... He is above all.❤️

I feel like we are family in some ways. I started tearing for joy for Vance and Billy and Chynna. My heart was full dear God thank you. And thank you Cinderfella for all you do. Chynna I know bad things happen to good people and there becomes doubt. For me it seems like the best people in my life had left me but I do know that they are with God. I don’t want anybody to suffer or to be in pain whether it’s emotional or physical and yes we do need that friend that we can go to share feelings with it’s a beautiful thing to be able to share with our friends. I relate to what you said about praying and trusting God and yet how hard it is to leave what I am going through completely with the Lord. I find myself continually struggling with letting go and letting God. Loved you sharing Vance's big NEWS! He is such a handsome young man. God is good! Love seeing Billy! Love seeing your fur babies, always! You make the most beautiful videos with your family and all around your new home. The little bird in the bird bath reminded me that God truly does look after the birds of the air and He loves so much more than we can imagine and He is looking out for us.

Just a perspective...I dont believe God decides to give someone cancer, or have an accident or lose a loved one etc. In college in a class on death and dying (a catholic college) we read When Bad Things Happen To Good People. It was written by Rabbi Kushner who lost his young son to progeria. I had just lost my own father to sudden death. He died young leaving a 45 year old wife and 5 children. My take away from reading the book was that our time here on earth is not completely controlled by God. And he doesn’t select people to get diseases, die etc, but that is a result of our time here on earth. The positive and negative experiences. We learn what we can, experience goodness and hardships but God doesnt choose certain people to experience hardships. It’s a result of our time here on earth - part of the experience. I know that’s a very simplified way of looking at it but it helped me tremendously. I certainly couldnt believe God decided and chose to have my dad die at such a young age; leaving such devastation in the wake. When people said “oh God must have needed him more,” I just thought that was crazy. His young wife and 5 children needed him. I cant imagine believing in God and thinking that’s what he does. Once I found that way of looking at it, to me that made sense and created a shift in coming to live with the loss.

Chynna we must understand that our prayers are answered 3 ways - yes, no, and not now/maybe.
My husband died from lung cancer on June 7th. I knew in advance he wasn’t going to make it, because God revealed that to me beforehand. He also told me he would continue to care for me the way He always has. I have moments of panic because I have to take care of things alone now; but God keeps reminding me I am not alone and I just have to trust Him.
To : starflower703 ---- I am so sorry for your loss.The date of June 7th should never be a date of grief --- that was my father's earthly birthday and it is a shame that it is a very sad date for you now. When I lost him almost 40 years ago I was an atheist ( even 'though my parents raised me right ) . He knew where he was going then but I didn't.I do now and I know he and my mother are waiting for me whenever God calls me to Heaven.I realized that both their real birthdates are the days they went to Heaven and not the days of their death here on Earth. That eases my grief and I hope you ,perhaps , can look at it that way too.You already know you will see him again and both of you will be totally healthy--- the way God intended us to be.No tears in Heaven and no cancer.

@@sharonl.chandler8428 Thank you sister! I do see it as a joyful date in many ways, because he’s no longer suffering and I will see him again. We had 35 years of marriage, and 8 children, 4 in Heaven and 4 on earth. Our 4 sons have been such a blessing to me and my 2 daughter-in-laws as well.
I am actually a little jealous. He’s in Heaven with my dad and our 4 babies. He’s spending time with them and got to meet them before I did. I can see him bouncing those babies on his knee and enjoying everything good about Heaven.

I am so glad you are finding the Peace of Christ at this time and always.I too think unborn babies are in Heaven waiting for their earthly parents and family. My niece at the age of 2 pointed out a newly framed photo of my daddy and told us "oh, look : that's Papa -- he played with me in Heaven ! " ----My sister had no pictures of family displayed in the house at that time due to " baby proofing " breakable and glass items.And she had not yet put photo albums together either , so there was no way Bethany Joy had ever seen a picture of her Papa yet.Even my devout sister and her husband and our mother were stunned. It made my atheist (at the time ) heart flutter.That's just one instance of the proof of Heaven in our family.

Don't feel discouraged. He's probably at that age where he's wrapped up in work and his young life. He'll come around again. Boys are never good at calling like girls are to their mother's. Sometimes, to hear from them you have to do the calling. My brother doesn't call my parents much and we live in the same town. It's not that we all aren't close he's just being a guy. Don't let it get you down and pray about it take it to the Lord. God Bless!

@Jenna Right EXACTLY all boys are like that. It's just a guy thing and my mother calls my brother more than he does her. I even call my Daddy most he don't call unless he has a reason and my parents are still together. Just the way dudes are. It's never to be taken personal. Hopefully you'll get to move back home to the states soon and I think being geographically closer to him would help if you lived in San Fran you would see him allot more meeting for lunch dinner feeding him. But when a man's chips are down who do they come to FIRST, MAMA! They always want you FIRST. Sounds like England isn't any fun to live there. I like to visit but live no thank you. I can also totally relate to how you feel about trusting God and then doubting as soon as we Finish our prayers. I'm always telling people trust God! he's gonna come through for you, yet when it comes to me, I totally act like doubting Thomas I just don't get it 🤦 As soon as the trials come in my life right away fear sets in, but I will keep you and me in prayer to give us more grace to trust God more no matter what! Chynna I had a very fractured relationship with my dad growing up , my parents split up before I was born . It wasn't until I got married at 22 and asked him to walk me down the aisle and he started crying that we began to heal our relationship . I accepted Christ when I was 15 and it was many years before I understood God as a Father . It's always hard to understand when we pray for a certain outcome and it doesn't happen . I've come to a place of acceptance that we won't know why until we go to be with Him . You are such a sweet soul and I keep you and your family in my prayers .

LOL, Billy I have the same toes only the one next to the little toe is curved which only makes the long toes look longer. Too funny. Those Roman feet....I've only seen a hand full of people with those toes. I can't wear sandals because they don't make shoes for these toes, especially women's shoes. Human bodies are just weird to me. Any-who...God bless your beautiful feet !

Yes, it is hard when God’s will is different from ours. I have found that when my prayers are not answered something even more good comes out of it. My stepfather had cancer and eventually died from it. However, because of his cancer he and my mother accepted Jesus as their savior and I know that my stepfather is in Heaven. Our Heavenly Father’s will is always right and will be done. Sisters in Christ ❤️✝️

Hello Chynna, the other day you said that the enemy always starts with your thoughts... this is absolutely the truth. Indeed its the only place that the enemy attacks, the thoughts of people and when those thoughts keep getting pondered and turned over in our minds they begin to produce fruit. What does our heavenly Father say? 2 Corinthians 10: 3-6 ......We demolish arguments and every arrogance that raises itself up against the knowledge of God; we take EVERY THOUGHT CAPTIVE AND MAKE IT OBEY THE MESSIAH..... (Complete Jewish Bible - love it) So this is saying that every thought we have we have to match it to what Jesus said. So now we have to seek out what did Jesus say on subjects? Well we know he didn't say anything that the Father didn't tell him to say or do anything the Father didn't tell him to do or that he had seen Him do. So that means we need to know What is God's Desire and Will for us?
Today you spoke about struggling to Trust God. We all visit this place a bit too often at times and I think it is because we don't know or truly believe what we read about God OR we actually think the wrong thing is the will of God. You spoke about ending prayers with Thy will be done. We've all heard it and we've all done it. Where that is said int The Lord's Prayer it is calling for that to come forth when you think about it, it wasn't a sign off at the end as it tends to be used. We need to pray HIS WILL. So what is it?
what The Father wants is found in Deut 28 with blessings and cursings and Him saying Choose Life and Blessings which you have because you call Jesus Lord and seek to walk in "lawfulness not lawlessness" So the blessings are yours, because you have chosen them. Health, abundance Blessing, Favour etc. So do you know that that is true or not? What God says He did with Jesus when Jesus gave himself as the perfect offering for our sins and diseases and poverty etc When The Father lay ALL the curse on Jesus so that we are blessed, do we trust that this is true? Because that's where our part is, TO TRUST that what He has said is true no matter how we fee or what we think or what someone may speak over us etc as scripture says we are to WALK BY TRUST AND NOT BY WHAT WE SEE or FEEL or THINK. We are to NOT LET our heart be troubled,.. catch it and rebuke it and speak The TRUTH into the situation. Find the scripture TO STAND ON and bring every thought and feeling into captivity TO IT. Trust Him, Either He's God and speaks the truth or He's not.
What also helps me is looking at Israel and the prophecies that concern it and watching them coming about.
So when you say His will be done now you say it as a command over the situation because His will is for good not bad for blessing not cursing, for health not sickness.
Everyone has this personal walk, and i think He wants us to command His will to come forth in our lives so the He is glorified, and I know you know this STOP comparing yourself to others. We don't know what is happening in there intimate walk with God.
