Love the new house. '08 did me in too....and had to let go of my "forever" house. Years of renting followed, in fact the house I own now, I rented for 8 years. This is now my "forever" house and I absolutely love it more than the first one, though smaller and older. The Lord knew what he was doing even if I didn't.

Chynna, Thank you. It's always good to see how deep your faith is. I feel sorry for those without any faith in part because they're missing out on a daily basis. I understand about fearful thoughts that arise when the new beginning of a house that you own comes forth. Pay mind to the early joys that are present in this time, when you move in, and particularly during the first couple of years. There's a wonderful freshness and joyful experiences that come with a new home but it only lasts for a time before the house then becomes really yours in the sense of it being like you've always lived there. Enjoy that, soak it in, make plans. Meet your new neighbor's. And say to yourself that the best is yet to come. God Bless You and your family.

Chynna, Thank you. It's always good to see how deep your faith is. I feel sorry for those without any faith in part because they're missing out on a daily basis.
I understand about fearful thoughts that arise when the new beginning of a house that you own comes forth. Pay mind to the early joys that are present in this time, when you move in, and particularly during the first couple of years. There's a wonderful freshness and joyful experiences that come with a new home but it only lasts for a time before the house then becomes really yours in the sense of it being like you've always lived there. Enjoy that, soak it in, make plans. Meet your new neighbor's. And say to yourself that the best is yet to come. God Bless You and your family.
