    This is beautiful and I will try it. You are a good teacher. I think I have watched all your
    tutorials, and I love each one, and will give them all a try. Thank you for doing these
    it helps to see it being done, rather than reading a pattern, my eye sight is not so good
    anymore, but I wont let that stop me, I will crochet!

    Hello! I really love this stitch and i have made some hats with it and they come out gorgeous! Now i want to try and make a sweater with this stitch. But im not sure how i would decrease this pattern. Could i do a decrease half double crochet? Would it blend in well enough?

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  9 місяців тому

      It's super easy to decrease with this stitch because the ch 1 at the end of making the stitch is SO important because it's what creates the 2nd stitch which makes it 2 sts total, without that ch 1 you'll be decreasing and your stitch would be off. So if you want to decrease just don't ch 1 at the end of the stitch.

    Hi. I adore this stitch; I’ve made a few scarves now with it. I would love to make a shawl out of it but am clueless how to start. Is it possible to give a quick tutorial??

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  3 роки тому

      If you want a rectangle shawl using this stitch, then chain until you get the correct width and make sure your multiples are the same as it says in the video. I have no plans as of now to create a shawl using this stitch.

    So what you mean is after the 4th row, every single Row from that point forward will be identical to Row 3?

  • @aadilavally4702
    @aadilavally4702 3 роки тому

    Hello I'm a blind crocheter and I've just done a small swatch of this stitch In each row the butterflies become less why don't they stay even numbered? In row 1 I had 3 butterfly stitches with 2 spaces inbetween in the next row I could only do 1 butterfly and the half double at the end?

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  3 роки тому

      The butterfly stitch shows in the spaces between the stitches, this will be diagonal because you're using the wings of the stitch from the previous row. So the endings will be different only twice. Even once and the other will end in a HDC to end the next row. It's a 2 row repeat

    Question why in only row 2 at the end you do a HDC & not a butterfly? That seems the only row you do a HDC. Will it come out funny if you do a butterfly. Other then that is a beautiful pattern, this one & another one you did the puff I am making into baby blankets.

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  6 років тому

      Yeah it would seem like that, but it doesn't, the rest of the rows will be done with a butterfly stitch ending in the last space. It's only row 2 that doesn't.

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  6 років тому

      If you use acrylic then any stitch would be stretchy, you could make it with single crochets using a bigger hook
