    Well Meladoea, you did it again. Another great pattern and video. I for one like it when I don't have to keep on replaying a step of a video to see where the hook is going. I hate i when I get to the end and find out I missed a step. Thank you, one of your manny viewers.

    I'm hoping you'll see my comment, as you posted this stich 5 years ago. If the stich is in sequences of 8, plus 1, wouldn't it be 25 & not 26? 8, 16, 24, +1? So far that is what I am confused on. Thanks so much Meldora... Hope all is well with you and the family in Israel. All the best to you, Always.

      I had this pointed out to me before. I wish I could change the video but once it's on UA-cam it's set in stone. I did add a correction in the description box though. I'll post it here for you. **CORRECTION** multiples of 8 + 2 not 8 + 1, sorry for the confusion. The pattern page has been updated.

    Just FYI... to slow down the video, mouse over the screen and locate your 'settings' icon on bottom right. If you click on your settings you can change it from 'normal' to either very slow or very fast... quite convenient when learning a new stitch and seeing it in real slow motion.

    Love this beautiful pattern!! Question, for rows 2 and 4, after SC in the 1st stitch, do I “chain 3” before starting the DC? “Chain 3” was mentioned in the beginning of the video for rows 2 and 4, then when row 2 is repeated in the video, it no longer says “chain 3”. Same thing with the written pattern. They are not consistent... so should I “chain 3” for both rows after SC in the 1st stitch? Thank you for the beautiful pattern!

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  5 років тому +2

      It's a repeat pattern. If you were chaining 3 before, then keep chaining 3 for the repeats

  • @pearlknitpurl

    Love this! Two questions: If you wanted to change colors (make color blocks, for instance), which would be the best row to do it? Also, if I use this for a blanket, would a border be a good idea? If so, do you have any suggestion about a good border? Thanks!

    • @Meladora1
      @Meladora1  8 років тому

      +Sedgwick Heskett Best time to change colors is after the row goes flat. You'll see it once you do a few rows. Hard to say about a border, guess it would depend on the border you wanted to add. I think the blanket is fine as is though.

    Pretty! Can you confirm the multiple? You said 8+1, but then you said you chained 26 to start. 8*3=24+1=25. I would love to use this so just wanted to double check. Thank you for another great tutorial!

      Maybe a row of single crochets for both sides or go all the way around the scarf. Then add a nice border using those single crochets. Or add fringe.
