I'm dealing with knee issue with both knees right now so I appreciate your situation. I take Glucosamine pills twice per day and that helps. My new ss is being built right now, 32 x 20 so I'll see how it goes. I also use ice on both knees after each ride.

I don't think Single Speed riding is to blame for this,
This mainly boils down to bad decision I made
