This boss fight is amazing, everything that leads to the boss fight, the cutscenes, the admosphere are all amazing

or it could be modded in some extend into World since it uses kushala/alatreon's skeleton so a good modder could maybe put it into world.

@@Reklov.66 yes it does, a modified one but the same skeleton since at 18:14 it has the same death animation as kushala/alatreon, it technical attack is Iceborne alatreon dragon tail attack animation, even it's idle flying animation with it's first pair of wings is kushala landing animation. The only thing different about Oltura is the additional wings and their animations and the whole worm thing so yeah just look closely and compare Oltura and kushala/alatreon and you'll see it.
Which by the way means that since stories 2 and World and in 2022 Rise are on PC a modder can take the Oltura's model and place it on kushala, Teostra, Lunastra, alatreon skeleton with Oltura's additional wings being in their resting position and go from there or more experienced modders like the people that did the Crimson fatalis mod can try to animate the additional wings. Like there a mod where Makili Pietru from first stories is placed on Teostra so it possible to do Oltura since it shares the same skeleton with alatreon/kushala.
Took me 4 tries and a dream, but Nergigante carried me to victory all on his own and was rightfully renamed to God Eater.

fun fact, if you use Ratha at the beginning, he will use Power against Oltura (which is effective as Oltura starts with Technical Attacks)... then after he enrages Ratha will curiously use a Speed Attack which is curious because he does that right as Oltura changes to using Power Attacks which allows for a successful Double Attack
When Oltura brings his wings out, his elemental weaknesses, and attack type change:
In Stage 1, I don't know his weakness as far as elements are concerned
-In this state he starts as a Technical Type but switches to being a Power Type upon enraging
In Stage 2, which starts after he unleashes Thunderblaze, he becomes highly resistant to Fire and Thunder attacks but is now vulnerable to Water and Ice attacks
-In this state he becomes a Power Type and if you disable his wings, he switches back to Technical (and Power when enraged)
-He will also start attacking twice until one of his wings have been broken
In Stage 3, which starts after he unleashes Freezing Downpour, he becomes highly resistant to Ice and Water attacks but is now vulnerable to Fire and Thunder attack
-In this state he becomes a Speed Type and if you disable his wings, he switches back to Technical (and Power when enraged)
-He will also start attacking twice until one of his wings have been broken
In State 4, which starts after he unleashes Dragon Rage, I don't know his elemental resistances/weaknesses at this present time, most elements work fine though
-In this state he becomes a Technical Type
-He will also start attacking three times in a row, the amount of attacks can be reduced by breaking the Ray Wings and after both are gone, he attacks only once a turn
In State 5, which starts after he begins charging up his big supermove, see State 4 for resistances/weaknesses
-In this state he will not attack until 3-4 turns in, after which he will unleash Luminosity, an attack that does OVER 9000 DAMAGE!! Unlike the previous novas, this one can kill you
-To mitigate this, you have to break both of Oltura's wings, if you have been building up your Kinship Gauge, it's best to use those Kinship Skills now
So there you have it, Oltura's fight in a nutshell!

Oltura is the best concept that I have seen for a six winged dragon and it is very amazing fighting it

Just as my Rider let go and Ratha and Oltura came crashing down I get "This software has unexpectedly stopped working"! Needless to say, I was pissed off
20:34 well, that's how my first 3-4 runs went, had to stock up on Vital Essense and Ancient Potions!
I used a Nergigante to destroy oltura
As soon as my kinship meter was full I was riding on Nergigante for the whole fight so I only had to focus on healing two, as the player character has less health compared to the others. I used my kinship on the very last phase. Nergi is a lifesaver in this fight.
I used Ranmar this whole fight.I gave my boy the genes of a Nergigante.

@@ultimasurge Here are the genes I gave him if you want to try to beat Oltura using Ranmar: 3 Health up genes (XL), 3 all-res genes (XL),3 might genes (XL), 3 full swing genes (L), 3 Soothing genes(S), 3 Nergigante genes(L),3 Nergigante genes (XL),and 3 Thousand blades genes (M).Also,Give him a Rainbow gene as well.
I cant believe all those building that i did for nergigante will lead me to a win against oltura on my first try...i never knew there will this amazing boss fight..i got worried i didnt bring enough pots or the right equip to get me through this..glad my nergi is soooo epic.. 😆

I fought oltura and lost twice so I though I was under leveled and got to 40. Then I lost 2 more times and looked up how to beat it farmed vital essence and brought a gunlance and hunting horn and lost again. Why am I so bad at this game.
What armor did you use? I went with the Borealis armor from the melynx shop because it gives defense and critical boost.
I used astalos armor
Bro when you were using zamtrios as technical monstie I was like omg he clearly loves zamtrios bc you can use astalos as a technical and it is much better
Zamtrios is one of the only monsties in game that can Swim, along with Royal Ludroth, Purple Ludroth, Lagiacrus, and Ivory Lagiacrus.
I think most people had a Zamtrios on their team.

I recommending buying some zest pills from a vender in any of the towns for when Oltura gives you Techseal.
Nergigante can easily clap Oltura when you add him in your team.
Oltura is 1° tech, 2° power.
Nergi is 1°power, 2° speed
It counters perfectly

I would recommend switching out Zamtrios with a Astalos
Probably a better choice in general but my zamtrios was pretty nasty against oltura. Just give it the ice boost and crit rate it needs and maybe a little vengeful ice drill.

You can't really cater to the minority of the community in this case, don't get me wrong your argument is correct by your part, but you need to see the youtuber's part as well. The majority of people has completed the game and you need to pump out content for the majority of people

Oltura would be no match for plessy. Hyperspace tackle and send that futuristic child to the stratosphere
