- How to make Fish Amino Acid (FAA) | Organic Fertilizer | DIY Gardening
The use of fish amino acid fertilizer from the seedling stage can promote early rooting and prevent diseases in the seedling stage. It is used in the early stage of fruit tree germination and has the effects of anti-freezing, anti-flooding, drought, and disease resistance.
Ingredients of Fish Amino Acid:
1. Liver and intestines of fish
2. Molasses or brown sugar
3. Plastic screen (cut it same size of the container)
4. Rubber bond
5. Small cloth
6. Ceramic or anything that can be used as weight
How to Use FAA in the Garden
1. Dilute Fish Amino acid with water before use in the garden. We use 1 liter of water with 2 tablespoons
2. FAA is rich with nitrogen and encourages plant growth during their vegetative state. It may be applied to both soil and foliage.
3. FAA may also be used as a foliar spray to repel insects such as worm moths and mites. Apply diluted FAA with a spray bottle to both sides of the plant leaf.
