Regarding Settings
Normally when you use a customised control scheme with L1 as weapon wheel you'll be restricted to using the left sticks directional input to select weapons. As a solution to have weapon select on the right sticks directional input, I use the Playstation custom button assignment to swap L1 with R2. So in game my weapon wheel is R2 and weapon mod is L1, but with custom button assignments it's swapped. - This only concerns players who use my control scheme. Use whatever is most comfortable.

SMVR is hands down my favorite DOOMTuber. The way he utilizes every weapon, flame belch, glory kill, air combat is just so satisfying. The fact that he’s on PS4/PS5 just makes it even better. He’s the embodiment of the fun zone Hugo always talks about.

@@jordanwright2313 if you pay attention, every now and then you can see the weapon wheel pull up. He’s just really fast with it.
Hello, not console shaming but how many FPS you get on PS4/5 ?
PCs can get 250 to 350 FPS. But his weapon switching is amazing.
Also on PC you can make the enemies move 2 times faster.

@@Randybobandy024 Facts bud facts ZM has nothing to prove and if you're a real Doom fan and part of community you should know it, I don't know anybody of community who think that ZM is not the best until you replied my comment and I know those guys you mentioned before but the difference between those guys and ZM is that ZM not only plays classic Doom he plays the other titles of the saga and not only the fact he's extremely good at it but also he's God at speed running and not just speed running but beating the regular game, master levels and stuff at higher difficulties without HUD and makes that look like a picnic. But to get on point Zero Master can do all those things the guys you mentioned before, but the question here is can they all do what Zero Master has done and achieved? Imo Mars core (just the last part) is harder since you can just spam bonk in this one
I love the positioning and the faultering/staggering! They make the fight look digestible and professional! I want to play like this, varied techniques, easy to spectate and a playful attitude
2 seconds in and SmvR already blows my mind. Clever use of the sentinel crystal perks there.
I cannot wait for Sony to release back buttons for the Dualsense. I miss my old DS4 layout, it felt much more manageable. But this gameplay makes it look like you never had back buttons to begin with! Hats off to you, you’re always the DOOM player I look to to up my game

@@palmtreeboy9123 It's one of the crystal upgrades, when you're at max HP or Armor then their pickups start going to the blood punch instead

This game is so good and perfect technically not just when it comes to the atmosphere and the gameplay that they even optimized yhe control for controller's with a drift
I have a controller with a horrible analog drift but when i play doom eternal i have 0 difting its amazing what they did.

Nice gameplay, even you play it with higher difficult.
Just my advice, I saw you almost die there, I think you should use that BFG-10.000 if there's a lot of enemy, this will save you more time in killing the monster. And yeah, I think you need to use that Heavy Cannon with Micro Missiles Mod or Ballista with Destroyer Blade Mod to execute the enemy easily from far away.
Bfg is considered cheating in the community. Playing it on even footing is the most fun way.
He uses the destroyer blade and micro missiles regularly in other vids. Arguably, he uses the most of his arsenal better than many other players.
