One of the reasons I love your podcast is learning about things like the "Raise Your Glasses" book and the 2009 collector cards. I saw KISS in 2009 on Halloween! I have to get my hands on the cards and that book! 🤘

I got to see Jane's Addiction, Down, Jello Biafra, Squirrel Nut Zippers, Flaming Lips, Biz Markie, George Clinton, Trombone Shorty, The Pogues, Wolfmother, Gogol Bordello, ... and a tone of others all the same weekend... Kiss headlined on Halloween night ... and there were fireworks after their set.. it was AWESOME! 🤘
@@lower_case_j Nice, even better!! 👏 OH YES, I remember watching the '09 Voodoo Fest on like MTV or something. They showed Detroit Rock City on TV. That's so cool that you were and got to see THAT many awesome acts 🔥
The only thing I want to add about the Gene song list, is that songs like God of Thunder was not written by Gene, Paul wrote it. I just wanted to include songs that Gene had written, not just sung. Mini-KISS are so damn cool to watch and hear. I love em'. Very cool for you both to honor them in this video. ❤👍🤘🎸 Mini-Kiss is a very well put together band, the opening is a mini kiss opening. Lol. Congrats Xander for being recognized in the book Raise Your Glasses! 😊
I'm glad to see some more love for MiniKISS!! They are the real deal; and since recording this I learned that the Starchild is Arturo Knight. He bought the name/entity MiniKISS from the original founder before his passing and has taken it to a whole new level 🤘
We had a great time indeed! Hmm, let's see... I've seen Mr. Speed at least twice, KISS Resurrection once, and another one that I can't remember right now for some reason. And now MiniKISS 😎
