I think the redesigns look so much better. The previous game's models were so low poly compared to this and they lacked the disgusting details these ones have. Also the striker's mouth actually looks like it was sewn shut instead of it being a weird sausage. All in all, way better for a horror setting than the previous ones

Yes. The Butcher Gang it seems was originally going to have a much, MUCH bigger role in BatDR. They might have scrapped them because they realized it was going to be too ambitious. I'm also pretty convinced that Sammy Lawrence was originally going to have a much bigger role in the game too. He was most likely going to be where Alice Angel was in the final game. And I imagine that scene was originally going to be MUCH bigger, and more significant too. Like, instead of Alice's small scene, it was originally going to be Sammy's big moment kinda thing. Seems like Sammy was originally going to be the main villain of the game. Considering that not only was he the machine's first victim, but also The Ink Demon's Prophet. The Truest Believer if you will. I mean, think about it. In the final game, Alice just kinda... showed up? She had no purpose in the game other than just being there. So I suspect that scene was originally going to be for Sammy. But they scrapped it because they realized it was going to be too ambitious. Because, in all of the trailers, it was heavily implied that Sammy Lawrence would be more than just Sammy Lawrence. In the original version of BatDR, it seems that he was going to be The Ink Demon's Prophet. Or, The Mad Songwriter. He'd be a main villain, with a fitting title to go along with it. Similar to how Wilson isn't just Wilson, he's "The Man who killed The Ink Demon." I suspect that originally, Sammy wasn't just going to be Sammy, but also "The Mad Songwriter" or "The Ink Demon's Prophet" or "The Truest Believer." I don't know, just my thoughts. What do you think?

the one catroon eye edgar still has has those lines of shock on the top and bottem, ya'know, those line you put around the eye to convey shock, anyways, the mear fact he has those implies that he was alive and conscious during whatever it was that happened when he and the other became what they are now.
