To me, there is something unsettling about the alpha version of the ink demon. It's less about the appearance, more about the size. Only the top half of the demon is shown, but it still is as large as a human being, meaning that the alpha ink demon with legs would be twice the size of a regular human, if not more. Just imagine how scary it would be if suddenly a 12 feet demon would appear in front of you, squeezing itself through the halls, looking like a wall of ink chasing you. That would be terrifying. I also like the fact that it sorta looks like the actual bendy cartoon figure and also looks more like an ink blob, than a human figure with skeleton and stuff, combined with it's size, it fits the idea of a failed attempt to create a live mascot by the machine much better. I'd be very curious how the game would have turned out if they have stuck with the idea of design, improving it, instead of changing it completely.
I believe the alpha version of BATIM chapter 1 is scarier than the final product, the reasons being mainly the place feeling old and abandoned with simplistic and mysterious design, locked doors and the lack of information about what’s going on. It does make the game scarier when you don’t know what you’re doing neither what’s gonna happen next, which the alpha version makes you feel more.
The first version of Chapter 2 also has a creepier atmosphere in my opinion. It's a combination of the simplistic level design which makes the place feel claustrophobic, and the darker lighting compared to the more orange/yellow toned lighting of the updated graphics. I'm not saying the updated Chapter 2 is necessarily a downgrade, I just personally prefer the tone of the pre-update Chapter 2.

Yeah. We had no clue what would happen next or how many chapters there would even be. Chapter two allowed us to theorize more and think what could happen next. It was fun before chapter 3 released.
Something about this old version has a certain charm that isn’t there in the final version. The final version still has charm, but a different feeling one. This one was scary, although not as unique. The final game feels more original and inspired, but not nearly as scary.
Nope -_- Also, the Ink Demon only started to evolve when they split him into two and that was in BATDR. No need to find a canon explanation for this or the studio changing.
To me, the alpha was the best version of BATIM, sure, the game definitely could’ve done better with the graphics but to me, the whole cult vibe and the fact the studio was much smaller instead of being this giant factory was much better to me than what we actually got. And the Ink Machine being this kinda small size was much more realistic but that’s just personal preference.

He would have no hands and no legs. His face will be half covered. Then slowly his hands and legs will grow. Bendy will evolve into his beta version form. Then, at the end. He'll finally become the Ink Demon(Final Bendy design). Beta Bendy cannot see from corridors because he didn't fully transform and the ink is still covering his eyes. You can see Bendy's half part of his eyes in his beta form. Now in his transformed form, he has fully adapted his ink abilities and finally transformed into the Ink Demon. His true form is Beast Bendy.

I know right, The game isn't even horror anymore, It's just an adventure game. Chapter 1 Alpha was genuinely eerie, and I was expecting something to pop out at any moment. The remastered ruined that.
I think that "line" refers to both Henry and the Ink Demon. Henry was "drawn" to darkness (the "Ink" Machine) so to speak by encountering the Ink Demon. The Ink Demon was drawn to darkness by the pits of isolation that he so desperately wanted to crawl out of and then proceeded to use violence as a way to soothe it.
The only thing I learned was the boards that block the exit before the Bendy jumpscare. But that was still very interesting! Same goes for the oddities in the ending cutscene.

I think for the original Bendy model they were too lazy to add legs and arms so they decided that they would make the legs and arms later when we get to see bendys full body in a different chapter.

I did the same thing recently, and I discovered a few things. There is a reason to why the exit is boarded up before the jumpscare. if you hack behind, you actually can still fall through the floorboards. Also, if you hack below the area of the jumpscare once alpha bendy retreats, he will still be there, however he wont move or do anything. Also, I noticed in the end cutscene that the entrance to the pentagram room is now boarded off. The interesting thing is that those boards can't be seen normally, at least I don't think so. (I noticed this in your video, not in mine.)
Nah, I like the new one more but I like the old one because it really looked like an abandoned workshop. In the new version, it feels like all of this walls and the machine are new stuff and nothing seems old.

changes I noticed on my playthroughs (before watching this) - the whistling had hellfire follies playing - hellfire follies on the first projector was noticeably louder - bendy looks different obviously - ink machine room revamped - bendy no longer appears on the final flash before the end
So Bendy probably kills Henry's HUMAN body and in Chapter 2 Henry wakes up as one of the ink creatures but the character he has changed into is unspecified
Imagine if they kept taht modle, just bendy floats towards the projesanist and just bites his proector off, then in chapter 5 he turns into the beta modle or youre just being chased around by a giant bird poop.

Nah, I like the new one more but I like the old one because it really looked like an abandoned workshop. In the new version, it feels like all of this walls and the machine are new stuff and nothing seems old.

changes I noticed on my playthroughs (before watching this)
- the whistling had hellfire follies playing
- hellfire follies on the first projector was noticeably louder
- bendy looks different obviously
- ink machine room revamped
- bendy no longer appears on the final flash before the end
