Right at the start "riders ready, watch the gate", watch the handlebars moving. That is NOT them balancing, but rather trying to control the amount of adrenaline pumping in anticipation of the gate drop. I love it!
Great observation! Yeah those guys are all skilled riders and can definitely hold their balance on the gate. Adrenaline is something else, though!

Too high on the berm. If you go that high, you don't stop pedaling. The winner was smoother over the rhythm section also
