@GeoffBuysCars it may be an idea to look at German New Medicine for an explanation of men's beer bellies and weight gain/loss. Look for Alvin De Leon on UA-cam and Danielle Bryant.
Also perhaps look at the metaphysical such as Jacques Martel's book and Evette Rose on UA-cam and her book metaphysical anatomy.
It gives more explanation and when you work through them according to what symptoms present in the healing phase, the more you really understand your own body.
Your body is far more intelligent than we are led to believe.
As you start to use these modalities, ailments, illnesses and diseases can heal quickly, sometimes overnight, but more importantly you start to see yourself differently and realise how much fear we have all been put into since birth.
Crying is cathartic and a cleansing response.
Good on you for bringing this up and for both of you speaking openly as men.

Crikey, kudos to you. Dropping nearly 40 kg is astonishing. Not surprised that you’re feeling GREAT.
Like Geoff said, if you’ve been eating a near vegetarian/vegan diet plus crappy highly processed “food”, they day you choose to switch to mostly meat, your body and mind go delirious with renewed energy. As a man in his mid-60s, I feel more male since moving to a diet from which most calories are from meat. I can feel increased aggression and assertiveness, but accompanied by increased self-control. Exactly what the Fat Controllers do not want us to be!!

I wish I’d known this in 2003. I’d smoked for 25 years, had become unfit and overweight. I quit smoking after some scary symptoms, took up road running, and the weight fell off. Early on, though, I found the discipline of deliberately eating just slightly less than I was burning in a day was VERY hard.
That works but I hadn’t realised that there are better & worse ways to burn more calories than I was consuming.
21 years later, I can eat whatever I want, because I now eat a lot of fresh, meat-based meals that I cook. I never buy ready meals or highly processed foods. For me, a meal mostly of steak with a small portion of vegetables and no carbs means I’m sated and rarely fancy anything else.

Give it at least a month. Keep yourself very busy in the morning and enjoy your lunch guilt free.

People who want to lose weight always overlook the simplest method of getting back to a baseline. Eat like your grand/great grandparents. Start day with cooked brealfast. Have a light lunch and then dinner is meat and two veg (have a pudding if so desired). Eat nothing else between these meals. Drink moderately if at all. See results quickly and no downers.

I have an X5 45e. A 3 litre straight 6 with a 54 mile hybrid. It does up to 85 mph in battery mode and when driving on the engine it gives you 1 mile of battery power for every 2 miles of petrol. My car has done 16000 miles but only 960 miles using the engine in 2 years & 9 months. It is absolutely brilliant. I had the x5 40e before this one which did 20 miles on battery and I was very pleased with that as well.

Everyone is taught to have a balanced diet. But in today's world it is now easier for people to obtain non healthy foods. I laughed when they said we need to stop showing fast food adverts in the day, to stop children seeing them because it was apparently one of the things causing obesity in children, but its ok to show a advert for Just Eat or Uber Eats in the day time which promote fast food.

The body’s sugar and stored sugar are the first to be depleted at the start of a diet and not surprisingly it can be more than just the reduced energy reserves that is encountered… challenge is to keep going through that stage. Whilst BMI has been discredited there should still be a normal range out there on the web to go by to know how much weight still needs to be shifted - not qualified in diet and nutrition, more coming from experience and a certain level of scientific understanding.

    • @svr5423

at the start... did he say the issue was due to charger wired on 16A trip, and should be on a 13A? if an electrical component wants to draw more than that, it will attempt it. unless his issue is its the the 13A plug getting hot (sign of electrical resistance) (causing a voltdrop which could cause charging issues) Reduce the resistance, wack a 16A blue plug on it, in my opinion (after doing your own research on it). Who remembers bar heaters, never blowing the fuse (draw under 13A/but close to it) but cooking the sockets. Reduce the resistance by over engineering it. remove the weak point

As an inevitable consequence of strict carnivore REGIME (it is not a diet) you will achieve optimal weight according to the physical demands of your lifestyle. More importantly it is a biologically appropriate regime and being a double immune system minimal toxin exposure food supply (glyphosate does not survive translation to meat by ruminant systems) is optimal and typically will invoke a detox both rapid and slower ongoing one as the toxins typically stored abundantly within surplus fat (white fat) are depleted under ketosis. The whole benefit can be rapidly escalated by utilizing prolonged fasting (ref pottinghers human for more info and reasoning/science) and gravitating to One meal a day (OMAD) regime to maximize intermittent fasting. Beef is complete food and the Petersons are a rapid source of validation of that if not MDs Ken Berry, Chaffee, Baker etc. ALL Carbs = sugar; the Real Gateway Drug.(Formula for failure; replete with soy for estrogen disruption of male babies). Sugar replacements invoke the SAME Insulin response and support ongoing Insulin Resistance which is the foundation for ALL modern dis-eases. Ignorance is not the basis for Wisdom.
