  • Looney Tunes River Ride Pre-Show Footage! Bugs Bunny has run away to Australia and it's up to park guests and the Looney Tunes to find him! Here's some home video footage of the classic Movie World attraction and its lengthy (but fun!) preshow experience.
    Previously known as the "Looney Tunes Studio Tour," LTRR was a great family boat ride at Warner Bros. Movie World that took guests on a zany journey from "Hollywood" to "Australia"! The ride was well known for its lengthy interactive preshow, in which a staff member took guests through multiple show scenes even before getting on the ride itself!
    The ride closed in 2011, replaced by Junior Driving School. RIP.
    There was also a version of the ride at Warner Bros. Movie World in Germany (now known as Movie Park). The ride was very similar, but was themed to Europe instead of Australia. This closed in 2004 and was rethemed to 'Ice Age', based on the popular family film series. This ride in turn was replaced by the amazing looking "Movie Park Studio Tour' Roller Coaster in 2021.

    1:42 The inside of the earth drill has 4 screen monitors representing the POV.

      It was a clever effect for back then! I remember the floor shaking a bit to emulate the drilling too

      Same. The POV footage shown in the earth drill's monitors should be found and restored one day.

      @@ThemeParkOgre the pre show is different than the one in Germany which ride of looney tunes featured a squirrel 🐿 between australia 🇦🇺 vs Germany 🇩🇪 but I definitely 💯 love how the characters are talking in australia 🇦🇺 in English while in Germany they are talking in german.

    I really wonder what ever happened to all the animatronics from this ride? I read the boats, a prop tree and some other items were auctioned off, but nothing about the animated characters... I wonder if they'll ever resurface like the dream world animatronic show did. If anyone knows what happened to them when the ride closed please let me know!

      A Speedy Gonzales figure from the ride (I think the one from the preshow?) survived, and sits in the station for the Tijuana Taxis ride next door! Not sure about the rest. I think they're probably all long gone sadly.

    In Germany of looney tunes River ride Elmer Fudd is sitting in the camera chair seat while australia 🇦🇺 version he is on his knees begging for bugs bunny while tweetie is doing all of the work with the camera sitting in it germany also have tweetie bird sitting in a cage while australia he is not very detailed but very cool 😎 it’s like chapters in a book the more you read more than 2 or more times you’ll find these details that these developers put on the ride looney tunes River ride. I read the book 📖 first and then watch the film. And if you read the book and then watch the film you get more details for me I read the book 📖 the outsiders and then watch the film 🎞 and I realize that the movie 🍿 have less details like it’s like a broader overview of the subject but don’t give you the details. Books give you details if you read it more than 2 or more times similar to a recording album 💿 like say your favorite 🤩 artist is tears for fears and the album 💿 the seeds of love ❤ if you listen to the first time great 😌. But if you listen to it 2 or more times like 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10 you’ll knowtice these details that are in a book 📖 for me if I had to choose for stronger between book 📖 vs movie 🍿 I would choose stronger by Jeff beauman because I would read it over and over and over again and find those details and books strengths your brain 🧠 and also books 📖 also more details because people want more details about the book 📖. While movie 🍿 it’s quicker and broader too.

      @@ThemeParkOgre And why are album 💿 are viewed as one big story?

      It is a cohesive collection of songs used to tell a bigger theme or project an overall vibe. Think of an album as a book. And your songs as chapters. Every book has chapters. Every album has songs. Each chapter is different. Each song is different. But the collection of chapters (the collection of songs) is what tells the full story of the book (of the album).

      @Songwritersbehindthecurtain Рік тому

      @@ThemeParkOgre Usually the songs on an album are the result of an artist’s creations during a season of life. This means the songs can all speak to a similar set of themes, ideas and topics. So the aim of an album name is to try and sum up the big story/concept that all the songs pull from when they were written. It’s not always like these, especially today. But traditionally, an album is like a “book” with the songs inside being like “chapters.”
