While I really love her in the Looney Tunes Show, I think Rabbit Run is a nice balance between her personality in the LTS and Space Jam. She's a little airheaded but independent and really desired to make a name for herself.

I've actually liked the Lola incarnation from Space Jam. She's a girl, but she's the kind who isn't a stereotypical "Dumb Blond" or the kind who just follows guys around like a puppy. She's a strong, independent character who's great at sports, but still has a good heart and love for her friends.
I've actually read that Lola's gonna appear in the upcoming Tiny Toons Looneversity series, where "Babs Bunny will met her mentor, Lola Bunny".
If that happens, then to satisfy both old and new fans of Lola Bunny, I think Lola's personality should be a mix of the two from Space Jam and Rabbit Run.
Funny like Babs Bunny, but intelligent, fierce and tomboyish like Lola's Space Jam counterpart. OH! And can we get Kath Soucie to reprise the voice of Lola, please? ^^
EDIT: Accidentally spelled Kath Soucie's name wrong. My bad!

Think what Lola needs is balance; subtle female features no matter if she's in modest clothing or a crop top and shorts, a personality that allows her to be both a confident or, in my way of thinking, the 'straight bunny' of the Looney Tunes bunch but in her own adventures or even with Bugs can let out a wackier side.

Ehhhh... I get what you're getting at, but Roger Rabbit's plot did kind of hinge on Jessica being sex object-y. He was framed by Judge Doom who planned this massive conspiracy around making it look like Jessica was playing Pattycake with Marvin Acme, in order to give Roger a motive to kill him. Not that Jessica wasn't a tough character who stood by her convictions and would do anything to save her Honey Bunny, she was designed more to be a Torch Singer stereotype. She's not bad, she's just drawn that way.

You can make a character sexy if you want, I don't mind, I mean there are 'hot' people in real life (or atleast I've heard thats true) Just don't have others ogling them the whole time like its a character trait.
Except Jessica Rabbit, she subverts it with her actions. Even teaching viewers you can have all the looks, but if you don't find someone that makes you happy then it doesn't matter.

Kind of odd how McDonalds insisting that sexier = Appropriate age lead to her being sexualized and objectified which lead to her getting a less sexualized body. But I hear this a lot from Audiences when I draw art. If I draw an adult female character and I don't give her large breasts, obvious cleavage , and lots of curves in the legs and hips the audience will assume the character is younger. Lust like how if I don't draw lines to put a character in shirt and pants they appear naked to a lot of people and even hair styles go a long way in to conveying to your audience race and gender when you present a work that's not collared in.
over all culture wants to represent and diversify but fans resist change. While both points are valid I think a body type should reflect that person's life style . Lola would naturally have an athletic build. In the case of the She-Ra reboot that original cartoon was based every one looking the same because the toy company was lazy with the doll and used one mold for all the characters. Diversity adds realism.
In the case of the Powerpuff Girls reeboot, Wonder Woman, Batwoman, Batgirl and Super Girl changing changing the body types takes away from the message that sexy can still also be powerful if ANY body type is OK, why are we shaming girls who can't help but be curvy by nature? You're telling young girls that its wrong to work out, wrong to eat healthy and wrong to want a curvy figure. Also Fat doesn't work on a super hero since some one who runs and jumps and fights a lot should be staying in shape. Not taking a break all the time to catch there breath. Miss Bellum is an intelligent character who doesn't deserve to be written off. and Supper Girl and Bat Woman have multiple people who can take up the mantle. They don't need movies creating a brand new character just to represent.

It’s more the problem of, ALL SUPER HEROINE CHARACTERS ARE BUILT THE FUCKING SAME! I get it if a few are curvy, but all of them are carbon copies body style wise they all have the same size breast they all have the same long ass waists and big hips, there aren’t any flat chested ones, lanky tall skinny ones, short and curvy ones, they ALL look the same. No one is saying that girls should be ashamed of being curvy in fact, Society promotes it! the thing that messes it up is that Society doesn’t promote it as a whole great you’re happy with yourself thing, It’s oh wow now I can sexualize you because you have more to look at, you’re now more worthy. You’re now the beauty standard, then that leaves a message for all the girls that don’t look like that that they aren’t good enough, they aren’t pretty, they aren’t appealing they’re not what society deems as beautiful. It’s rough on both ends it’s either your curvy so you’re sexualized, or you feel bad because you’re not. That’s why there’s so many women getting butt implants and breast implants. Even in the video it’s stated that you’re more “ womanly” if you have a more curvy form. Like you’re talkin about there not being any fat women, THEN WHERE ARE THE MUSCULAR ONES!? I’m not mad at you I’m just upset when people think body positivity and sexuality is only directed towards fat and skinny people, no it’s all people who don’t look like the predetermined view of beauty. Cause when i look at a cartoon woman on screen, I don’t see any that look like me either! Bc apparently healthy isn’t the only beauty standard.

i think toning down lola's appearance is rather strange
lola's design should have the chance to go back to the 1996 design
but i think lola's personality evolving over time on the other hand proves to be quite intriguing
i always picture lola as a little of both personalities : on the one hand, the rather wacky yet humorous sexy girl personality that likes bugs from space jam , while on the other, a rather humorous girl bunny in other itterations including looney tunes show
kath soucie was a good version of lola for space jam, and kristen wiig does a great job with her interpretation of lola
im sure zendaya will do a wonderful job as lola bunny just as much kath soucie did in the original space jam

I think the compromise is that you can have a character be sexy just don't make a big deal out of it. Like don't make the other characters stare, whistle, and hoot at her or make the camera focus too hard on her anatomy when she moves or speaks. Lola could've had her physical appeal and her wacky humor but for some reason director's can't have a woman with a sexy figure without making a big deal for some reason.

An interesting and funny idea is what if Lola was a drag king or liked putting on a more masculine look/act sometimes just to be silly and fool others. It would parallel with Bug’s drag Queen reputation and they would always compete against each other to see who can pull it off better.
Edit: I also think they should make “Honey” into her middle name so as to pay an homage to her predecessor. It would have a nice ring to it.

As a woman I greatly admired the original Lola. She was a woman and looked like one. That’s just how she looked.
She didn’t have crazy disproportions like no waist or breasts bigger then her head. She was drawn feminine for sure but for her being a cartoon rabbit she seemed to have similar proportions to some women’s actual body types. She also didn’t dress in just a bra or lingerie but literally just wore what I’d wear working out (a comfy athlete crop top and short shorts).
She was just naturally pretty by societal standards.
And (as all to often happens) that was the first and only trait men saw when they initially met her.
The male characters seemingly at first only saw her for her looks as is often the case in real life. Women (and people in general) receive snap judgments on their outward appearance and are treated accordingly. That’s life. It sucks and is unfair but thems the cards especially when you’re a woman.
She recognized that. And found issue with it. (I also want to add her immidiete offensive response to being called “Doll” rather then being taken off guard and fumbling a bit hints she has likely dealt with that sort of shit before.) She then immodestly corrected them when she felt they were out of line. She then would proceed to SHOW them just how their judgment was wrong and that she had skills and wouldn’t put up with their shit and the males quickly respected her.
As a teenager I would have cringed at her character but now in my twenties and having dealt with men having similar (if not less cartoony) sexist first impressions and interactions I can only admire her.
She is strong willed and independent. She is confident in her body and her sense of self.
And as heartbreaking as it is, I think young girls need to see men make those sort of immediate judgements and comments and see how to respond to them. Because they will likely deal with it themselves one day.

Honestly Lola was what drew me to the Loony Tunes Show. I was a kid of the 90s and have no shame admitting I thought Lola was sexy in Space Jam. But she felt more like a Loony Tunes character in the show. Her ability to go off the mental track to the point she even confused her self was funny. I think she made for the best episodes of the show in fact. I think she did come off as attractive too but not in the overt sexualized way she did in Space Jam.
And interesting side note is that her mother, Patricia Bunny, looks closer to Lola from Space Jam then Lola herself in The Looney Tunes show. Patricia actually has the eyeshadow that Lola did in the movie.

Honestly, I think TLTS/Rabbits Run Lola, and to a lesser extent, the one from the DC comics, were the only ones that really made this character fit in with the rest of the cast. The Lola from Space Jam and A New Legacy are built from poor molds. Let's leave fanservice and merchandising aside for a sec; '96 Lola and her "don't call me doll", no-nonsense attitude combined with her more serious display of basketball skills make her very role model-like. And I'm sure there are people, girls, or boys, who saw her as such.
The new movie, in that regard, isn't much different. She's still being presented as this character to look up to or respect, only she's less sexualized. Lola definitely has a lot more going on in the new Space Jam, but in a way she's just as bland and unfunny as the Lola from the original, because she's still falling into this role model, family movie kind of characterization. One I feel is completely at odds with Looney Tunes.

I always felt like the ideal iteration of Lola would be a combination of her Space Jam and The Looney Tunes Show personalities - still athletic and competitive, but not afraid to be goofy about it. Sort of like Bugs in the Cecil Turtle cartoons, only not so easily bamboozled.
Though I also liked what the DC comics did with her, where she was aware of how demeaning her delivery job was and usually started every story with an attitude of "ugh, I'm so done with this crap". It got kind of meta, actually, sort of like she was aware of how people in the audience only saw her as sexy and didn't think she could run with the Looney Tunes superstars. Then she'd turn around and prove that, yeah, she totally could 😄

I think I pretty like her in the First Space Jam and probably my favorite one goes to Lola from TLTS and the one from new looney tunes made her more fit in from the rest of the tunes

The Looney Tunes Show Lola was hands down the best one but I don’t know if this version of her would work as well outside the context of that show

I absolutely adore her personality from The Looney Tunes show, honestly. She won me over. She's quirky and a massive air head. She's got a fun personality and I love Kristen Wig voicing her.

Not only in the late 80's but also in early 90's as The Bugs Bunny Crazy Castle 2 were released in 1991. In fact it was only the NES version that was released in 89 in the US while the Game Boy version were out in Japan in 89 while it hit in the US (and Europe) the following year.

It'd be neat to see the Original Space Jam design for Lola with the personality of the Looney Tunes show.

My favourite Lola Bunny appearance is the first space jam movie because she looks very young in that movie and that’s what I like about her. Oh and also one more thing. When I was born That is how long I had my Lola Bunny and Bugs Bunny toys. And now since I’m older now I have my two favourite bunnies as decorations now. And why you ask? Well i was born 2004 and now I’m sixteen now well I’m actually sixteen in a half and when I started to grow up I don’t play with toys anymore because when you’re older you start to change a little bit more and that’s what’s good about our life’s including me. And enjoy the rest of your day now so stay safe out There. 😊

For me... I would say that the first space jam design was the best one, because it showed that even pretty girl are strong and very cool. Who agree?
