that was a rather awkward landing on her triple lutz - triple toe combination. good for her to start with such a difficult combination, but yeah, it makes me uncomfortable to see the amount of time it takes for her to almost fall but not quite and then gradually recover in an awkward way. i almost feel like it would have made more sense for her to just fall and then quickly recover, rather than that awkward, uncomfortable act of not falling. i don't know why i'm thinking about this so much, but clearly watching this has caused me discomfort.
I wish instead of a long and short program they had a separate artistry and jumping program. Jumps don't matter to me and they interrupt the flow of great choreography.
