How to insert images into a word document.

Hi I need to add multiple pictures of different sizes, all in one page. does not matter if the pictures are flipped. I want to save space and use as few paper as possible. i will need to cut them out anyway. also images moved around is not a issue. .is there anyway this can be achieved.. ?

Thank you BUT placing a picture into data and selecting Tight doesn't keep the picture in its spot. In my document where I have read more a number a pictures over some 100 pages, when I save it then go back into it, the pictures have changed their position and in some cases have even changed the page they were original on. How frustrating is that?
I thought about putting the pictures into cells but I can't wrap text around the picture - no good.
I also thought of putting a page break at the end of every page. what do you think about How do you insert an image on multiple pages in the same place? I have some poems with images above each one in my Facebook notes. I would like to transfer these into a word document. Is it possible to copy an entire poem (and the image above it) and paste it into a blank Word document? Or what would you suggest? Would I need to first download the image and insert it into the word document page first, and then add the corresponding poem?
