Hello when I snap a pic it automatically save as JPG file also when I changed that JPG to JPEG format then tried to save in pdf the option in word is not available i don't why the hell does the option not appearing 😭😭😭😭
You talk way too fast. I have little knowledge of termology to begin with. I can't use most of the features on my laptop because no one will show me how to do it. Then, as I said, the termology evades me. What a waist of time and money for me.
Microsoft charges for word so there should be an easier way to peform this action like Google has in Keep Notes. You can extract the text. Atleast now you can scan a document into OneNote and it makes it a PDF.

Can you take a report and save as a PDF? Instead of taking a picture of it with a phone? I have a report that prints for our store. It's a call sheet / basically a daily schedule for our front-end Checkers and Courtesy Clerks. The document shows that it can be edited with an eraser tool and text tool, but it doesn't allow any editing. I'm hoping I can save that report as a PDF and then open it in Word. The report changes every day so I don't want to create a blank document/ table that I type in to and edit. I want that day's schedule that I can edit. I just need to add a row to add another employee or change a lunch break time. Here's hoping you can show me later in an upcoming video. Thank you.

Omg, this was so helpful! It helped me a lot with studying and editing for college if mates or teachers would send me their materials in pdf format for me to edit, but the text appears as a picture, unable to copy it and make it a text, I'd have a pretty hard time figuring it out. Thanks a lot, Kevin! I converted a PDF twice and got it in the end. The first time Word converted the original PDF into images and I saved the first conversion as PDF. The second time I converted the new PDF successfully into editable text in Word. Hope this message could be helpful for others.
Thanks. It worked. Was using Word 2010 before and was why it didn't work. Installed Word 2019, and it works well. Turns out it works for Word '16 and above. Great job, mate.

Thank you for this great clip. Anybody got this working with Word 2010? Its asking me to select the "encoding that makes your document readable". The defualt selection is "Windows" encoding, and that displays weird symbols instead of text. Any suggestions?

This truly a game changer. However, what if you are working with a PDF legal document, i.e., line 1-28 pleading paper that contain footers that you do not want in the WORD document? All you want is the text in order to edit or simply to copy & paste into a different WORD document? Not sure if I am making sense. Thanks
Could he possibly talk any faster? His speech frequently sounds like one long uninterrupted string of words without any space between. I found myself going back over and over to "catch" what he was saying. Also, the office space where he recorded this video is badly in need of acoustic treatment to reduce reflections that blur his speech. It sounds like he is at the far end of a tunnel. The combination of rapid speech and overlapping reflections results in a confused jumble of speech parts and a resulting low articulation index. Thanks for the tip, but please do your viewers a favor and hang some curtains or even cheap throw rugs on one or two mutually perpendicular walls. Another suggestion is to use a lavaliere microphone placed close to your mouth so that the louder, direct voice signal dominates. And yes, I was a professional acoustical consultant for many years before retirement. Just sayin! Thanks again.
For those of us who do not have Microsoft Office, what can we use for free to convert image to PDF? And how to do that? Do the same steps apply? I tried to do this earlier using Libre but I do not see any option to save as PDF. Bummer!
What I'd like to know is how can we convert the text and keep all the images intact with the resulting file. I need to convert an instructional scanned pdf but I cannot find any guide on how to do this AND keep all the images in place. It is always just text that is spat out at the end. Which is useless without the images. Subbed in case you, or a subscriber can come up with an answer to this dilemma, as I cannot find one after three hours of trying.

I'm looking for a way to take pictures and drop them into a word document where they are then added to our template (also a word document). These also must be resized and shrunk greatly in size as typically use 50-100 pictures per report. Any ideas? We have an inspection business and only use the function of our software to perform this one function. Now the software we have used for 10 years is shutting down and we need to find a way to replace this one function. Any help would be really appreciated!

I followed your tutorial step by step. After I saved it as a PDF file, it did not get the same result as you did. Mine come out as a PDF text instead of something like a Microsoft edge. I used Adobe Acrobat to open the PDF file and convert it into Word. The converted Word document is all gibberish.
how complicated for what should be a simple operation by Microsoft - surely Microsoft's talented programmers can make this process simpler. Used to be much simpler 2007. When Microsoft makes changes, the changes should make processes easier for users not more complicated.

The combination of rapid speech and overlapping reflections results in a confused jumble of speech parts and a resulting low articulation index. Thanks for the tip, but please do your viewers a favor and hang some curtains or even cheap throw rugs on one or two mutually perpendicular walls. Another suggestion is to use a lavaliere microphone placed close to your mouth so that the louder, direct voice signal dominates. For those of us who do not have Microsoft Office, what can we use for free to convert image to PDF? And how to do that? Do the same steps apply? I tried to do this earlier using Libre but I do not see any option to save as PDF. Bummer!
What I'd like to know is how can we convert the text and keep all the images intact with the resulting file. I need to convert an instructional scanned pdf but I cannot find any guide on how to do this AND keep all the images in place. It is always just text that is spat out at the end. Which is useless without the images.

What do you mean when you save it as a PDF and it opens up automatically "looks like Microsoft Edge" then its already in Microsoft Word When I save a PDF it opens in PDF. You save it as a PDF it opens as a PDF.
Is it also suitable for screenshot & other images?

I'm looking for a way to take pictures and drop them into a word document where they are then added to our template (also a word document). These also must be resized and shrunk greatly in size as typically use 50-100 pictures per report. Any ideas? We have an inspection business and only use the function of our software to perform this one function. Now the software we have used for 10 years is shutting down and we need to find a way to replace this one function. Any help would be really appreciated!

Hello, please help me with my paper I've just got my turn-it-in results and it was in image form, the technique above didn't work. My grammarian rejected the file because the document contents were all images and could not be edited. Is there a possible way of converting it into text in one go?

I followed your tutorial step by step. After I saved it as a PDF file, it did not get the same result as you did. Mine come out as a PDF text instead of something like a Microsoft edge. I used Adobe Acrobat to open the PDF file and convert it into Word. The converted Word document is all gibberish.
how complicated for what should be a simple operation by Microsoft - surely Microsoft's talented programmers can make this process simpler. Used to be much simpler 2007. When Microsoft makes changes, the changes should make processes easier for users not more complicated.
