A reoccurring theme I find with HOME is that I love the beginnings of their songs, and just as I'm starting to really get into it the tempo changes entirely.
tbh I agree, it really liked it and thought it was going to go the way I thought and it just changed and I didn't like it as much, im very specific in what I like in music bahah
ah, me too. except it's with many artists and songs. beginnings are beautiful.

This song feels like reliving all of the best moments of your life as you stand and face the great, beautiful, finite expanse of your own mortality, tears in your eyes, and a smile on your face.
I love this song. The start makes me feel like we are a little star in the universe that disappears and we born, grow up, study, work, got friends, wife, we have children and when we become old people we see the universe with those little stars which we were a time, close our eyes with a smile because we know that we had a wonderful life, wait to become a star and go where our ''Odyssey'' begun.

Home has gotten me through so many tough times, and has overall helped a ton throughout life. Thank you.
0:01 you press the button. the ship's warp drive is getting louder and louder as it packs and compresses space in front of you. you see odd distortions in the station surrounding you, as if the light was stretching before your very eyes
1:08 your ship is flung out like a rubber band. galaxies, nebulas, stars, all passing you like dust particles on a summer morning. the ship, shaking, and items in the doors are clanking and tinking, you start to feel excited.
2:19 a gas giant looks like it's flung towards you as your ship comes to a smooth deceleration. its rings, at a tilt. its bands, swirl like snowy blizzards at 2am. the station in front of has blinking red radio receivers that are rhythmically flashing on-off.
Odyssey and Resonance Is muy favorite songs oohhh yeah.

2:48 - As the situation had gone rather bad, the odyssey braced for the worst, and hoped for the best for them.
3:10 - The cloudy sky turned darker and darker as the clouds swirls in rythm with the faint light.
3:28 - The odyssey struggles through the wild storm.
4:38 - An end to the storm.
4:45 - The odyssey got past the storm and the warmth of the sun welcomes them. As the ships travels further they found salvation beyond the horizon, and ending their journey...
This song brings me yet more vivid imaginations than the other songs in the album and the tone/atmosphere-changing parts were unexpected so this was an enjoyment to transcribe :)

Absolutely. ASTRONEER is a game that proves that space-themed games with a colorful art style/visual style and relaxing, beautiful synthwave/electronic music like this song go together. Seriously, the ASTRONEER soundtrack is reminiscient of HOME’s music, and its colorful art style and space-theme is very reminiscient of No Man’s Sky. I highly recommend checking it out.

Ghostersoul Hahaha, take a look at how it’s doing now. It’s taken quite a few years, but the No Man’s Sky dev team have made a comeback, and now the game is much closer to what was promised initially. Which is to say, now it’s actually enjoyable to play.
