Very cool dude! Very cool! Amazing how something *so simple* can cause such a weird issue. Was probably bumped/dropped *just* hard enough to dislodge that cable. Just goes to show how sometimes not being afraid of complex electronics can net you a really sweet find for little or *no* money! That's the best! Just makes me wish I could've fixed my 2 dead GPU's and motherboard with a soldering iron like Louis Rossman does all day on his channel haha. Maybe someday. Always wanted to get a better understanding of complex circuitry and how it works. Sick find and great fix! Enjoy that thing, looks like a beast! Especially for free!
haha. I remember trying to fix what I think was a gtx 460 which wouldn't output a signal other than the one time when I got it. I checked onboard and there was an exploded capacitor, I replaced it and still nothing... I'm guessing the capacitor possibly shorting combined with my shoddy soldering definitely killed it.
@@ElectronicInspiration Soldering isn't easy dude! I've never tried it in my life so hats off for even trying. Eventually I'm going to try to learn but who knows when haha.
