This is insane content Anish, I've always wanted an elite player to make a video with the voice of the "real time" thinking, and with your sense of humor it was hilarious 😂. Keep these up!
This format is just perfect, when we can "hear your thoughts". This reminds me the old bbc masters series, where both of the players "thoughts" during the game could be heard in this way. There are a couple videos of that series on youtube still, I believe one of them has Korchnoi.
Funny how they dont even need the pieces to know whats going on. That last 5 seconds not one piece was in the right spot but they knew exactly what the position was lmao
Would love to see a ‘park style’ tournament with the super GMs, similar to the ‘shark cage’ tv show for poker players. Less serious stakes (maybe some cash prize), more casual format, banter encouraged. Would be beyond interesting
Can’t wait for pt 2 of the e4 course! Your e4 and najdorf courses have taught me endless opening and middle game ideas and lessons! Looking forward to understand some more e4 positions :)
chess has definitely got that aspect. give up your 'great idea'. Admit it has no merit, and move on. “In any situation in life, being adaptable is the only way to grow and succeed. " -- Viswanathan Anand
love these videos with your real-time internal monologue analyses. keep these coming! also lol "it's my comfort zone, eh? a pawn down, grinding" -Anish 2022. Great stuff
I like how you dont bend your character to fit the typical youtuber (very energetic, overstating and exaggerating everything). wry sense of humor, throw in a bit of self-deprecation to temper your godly skills, and we have anish giri.
Best funny edition and comments i ever enjoyed in a chess video, your are the world Champion in youtube content Giri, nice to see Magnus laughing at the end.
A little detail I didn't notice the first time watching this was that even though Magnus was trying to flag Anish to survive the lost position, he actually moved the pawn out off the board with his left hand during the scramble helping Giri get to secure the draw
This is my first time watching one of your videos, I want to say I am blown away by how tight the editing was!! The way the post-game commentary was perfectly synchronized with the live game was super impressive.
Ok that Knight trap calculation you did in 5 seconds.. I couldn't do in 5 hours.. my brain is just not capable of retaining the position of all involved pieces. WoW.. craziest thing is Magnus Saw It as well. Incredible how your minds work.
Yeah, but Anish’s deadpan honesty is just so loveable. I appreciate him. The botezes are wacky and fun, but I might like Anish’s brand of humor a bit more… especially since it includes a clearer lesson.
It's good to see that park chess is good for discovering pesky sidelines played by the world champion which wouldn't have been covered in your course otherwise. :D :D
It's mind-boggling for me how He just talk about the Chess - this and that ( which i don't understand ), yet it's fun to listen and watch to learn more about the game.
Great video Anish, what I absolutely like about your video's is that you implement your thinking process in the games you play on this channel. You are giving short sight intern commentary, that's great and very welcome! It's like a short look into a super GM's mind. Ga zo door!

Imagine going to a chess park and getting to watch Carlsen vs Giri…. Wow 😮
That would be crazy

Yes!
The BBC has just decided to make new Chess Masters programs again
This was insane! Insanely good! Two legends slugging it out in the park. What a feast for the eyes! And Anish is so funny. ❤️❤️❤️
Ikrr it was splendid
Anish will be a legend when he reaches rank 1 or world champion
@@aryavart296 he just won tata steel tournament!! Great work!

They're basically playing in their heads. The board is just a physical convenience

good idea
Banter, ding will lose. Banter, win for giri. Trash talk, carlsen wins
look up st louis showdown or something like that
Yea some cash per game. Maybe a charity event

Love these street chess analysis videos!
This was the actual Candidates for me ❤️
What? Why?
Doesn't make any sense OP
Yeah, more interesting than candidates
Basically we're getting to see what goes in a Super GM Head while Playing,
Awesome Stuff!!
Haha gosh I love the humble moment at 4:30. Chess can be humbling and I loved your narration of the feeling. Thanks for all you do, Anish. Subscribed!

Is there more comments like these? This was amazing. Explaining both sides. And because it's street chess it's easier to follow along.
Great stuff. The Olympic ping pong match at the end is an added bonus.
