Do you recommend an AU as a first car/daily?

They are bad for mpg and expensive rego. Good luck getting it insured if your a p plater. If you want one, get an lpg version. They have a little less power but lpg is significantly cheaper than 95/98. Lpg is getting harder to find tho. I’m gonna get an economy car until i have the money to buy one and actually modify it to my liking. Hope this helps :)
