I mean the story is you walked through the star gate to this world right? So it IS still season 2 in the lore of this series lol
Back to season 2 with us all haha
I love your videos
It's 3142, legends say Kharax still says "season 2" from time to time, despite being on season 419
You could have a massive branch holding up a platform with all your water collectors. The pipes bringing the water could be hidden in the branch.
grow spruces on top of the existing walls to finish the walls easier :D
Big brain plays
@@Kharax82also makes the walls look slightly more irregular and natural, which is good IMO :) (so you don’t have to do so much manual work on the details)
Tree Bark contains Xylem cells that pump water up the tree through capillary action and phloem cells that carry sugar down to the roots for storage and trade through the mushroom network
You NEED to build a steam grinder. It is so much fastet than even the electric macerators. Only when you get the second output in HV it's good to switch
The steam grinder is the GOAT - do the math, you can use it to HV and beyond (if you don’t need byproducts). Steam compressor is nice depending on if you need mad compression. Guaranteed.
FYI, if you shift + right-click those backpacks on an inventory, it'll transfer the contents out of the backpack :)
Also, that steam grinder multiblock is incredible! If you build it, you'll use that until you get the HV Macerator
really climbing up the tech tree quickly huh ;)
Practically done with the pack already
@Kharax82 (also think it would be funny to call your base a "tech tree")
If you shift-right click the backpacks on the drawers or a chest, it will empty the bag into it.
The macerator is really worth it, will be able to hold you up to HV, i had 2 in my base.
Saw this in a reply, so thought I should have it on its own:
Name the treehouse the tech-tree!
"oh god I'm going to die" he jinxed it in a good way
For the Forestry backpacks, there are 4 modes. The default, no icon, automatically picks stuff up and places it in the backpack. The locked mode doesn't automatically pick up stuff, but you can place stuff in there manually. The green arrow mode means shift-right clicking on an inventory will pick up stuff from that inventory and place it in the backpack, all the other modes will empty the backpack into the inventory. The yellow arrow mode means it'll refill stacks in your inventory with stuff from the backpack. That can be super useful when building, and also for torches (red builders backpack). All modes (except locked) will refill any stacks in your inventory first, then place in backpack.
IMHO, yellow arrow mode is best for diggers and builders, I usually leave all the others on default or locked.
I love the tree house base! Word of warning though... with things like firestone ore and infernal mobs (lightning), fires can be even more fun!
24:30 Did I heard that right? AE System, as in AE2, cause that's some bonkers pre-planning if I ever heard some lol.
For chunkloading, I just give myself admin anchors since I couldn't be bothered messing with the config. Admin Anchors load chunks 3x3 range, so 9 (I think)
I do the same for my single-player (server) world. I understand why chunkloading is biased to being short-lived on servers. As a GT modpack server admin years ago, chunkloading was a big bane of TPS.
Otherwise, chunkloading or the lack thereof is not really a game mechanic, but a performance issue. So, I have no problems with chunkloading my own world.
I used to have a treehouse base: looked cool but started to hate it bcs half my ingame time was going up and down ladders
I really like the idea of seeing that scenery from the top layer
I say have large windows with clear glass
Episode 7, and he only just now started Gregging.
Bonsai trees on crop sticks are really quite good without any cross breeding. I thoroughly recommend getting them as soon as practicable.
Interesting how the discussion of where the AE system is going when he lives in a giant inferno waiting to happen. Say hello to infernal skele! Oof
Be carefull with the skeleton infernal mob, he will probably burn down your house with everything :(
Love the base idea. It's gonna be awesome once it's built out. I had a sky base for my starter base in gtnh. I would advise you to plan on falling off a lot until you get a jetpack or a hang glider or something.
Add a dwarf city in the dirt pile next to you
The bronze steam multiblocks are amazing. They last well to (and into !!) the HV age. By that time, you can get the GT++ single-block steam boilers, which are really nice and easy to automate, and also fairly efficient on the fuel.
stealing all the bricks you need for the steam machines and large grinder from a structure like one of the roguelike dungeons could be nice
Built my base, then noticed I set up in 5% humidity. Oops. Lucky there is a tiny patch of 100% nearby. Phew.
You can always through a big growth on the side of the trunk if you need space. Agrobacterium cause burls all the time in a lot of trees around my house
Cool base and videos👍
if you put it into deposit mode diggers backpack can be emptied to a drawer
gotta love s2
all the people in the comments giving you noob tips 💀💀💀
You could put the coke ovens on a 2nd floor of the tree
i love you kharax
pls get ic2 bonsai crops, even the base stats give u tons of logs
your voice remind me the song giorgio by Moroder - daft punk
Did Kharax introduce this as Season 2? Yes :(
Totals
"Season 2": 3
"Season 3": 4
why dont you use a texture pack? it would help making each season look visually distinct
I hate texture packs, I don’t even like watching other UA-camrs that use them. I like Minecraft to look like Minecraft
@@Kharax82i meant for gt stuff lol, personally not fond of how base gt looks with all its gradients
@@BitSpartan fair enough. Still not a fan of that as well 😂
@@Kharax82maybe its just because i am an artist, or because i am used to newer minecraft, but gt textures actually looks so ugly to me as to force me to make textures for them
ep 7 check :P
Season 2 )))
27:11 #KharaxFall lmao
I definitely think you should take the time to be more creative with this playthrough. you mentioned that you weren't really a builder, so why not use this playthrough as an excuse to try it out, you know? I'd love to see some interesting setups from you!
noooo he said season 2
Lol s2
Yes, yes... we all know he said season 2. You're all so original
Where's the mention he skipped a number?
Who pissed in your cheerios grumpy person.
@@ebmusicman84When a joke is repeated so often, you’d expect someone to get annoyed by it.
How did you ever reached the star gate at this pace you should have at least needed 1000 years. Its Episode 7 and you are doing basic stuff. Start progressing :/
He already did all the progression lol, nothing left to do.
