      Another tip for foliage... Masks with feather and the Roughen Edges effect applied. Then use as track matte

    this is the most real feeling video ive seen you guys make on this channel. It was great! of course not every video needs to be this way. but seeing that overarching silent stress is super relateable. Seeing the excel change sheet was nice.     could Wren do a full length tutorial on Cinema 4D and renderers and everything? Something new, updated you know. what do these different plugins do, Octane, Real Flow, Houdini. etc etc and how to use them?

      It's kinda easy, you find TON of these thing on UA-cam or on specialised platform.
      Also, you don't need to go directly to C4D. Blender is free and everything C4D can do, Blender can do it too.

    Really cool to see, as a complete outsider to the industry, some of what REALLY goes into making a video like yours. The little snippets from the client meeting and adjustments made in response to that etc...

    I love Octane! Use it as a plugin for Blender. Mostly for Illustration, and not animation, but yeah it's crazy super fast with the 1080ti :)

    Your guys' ability to time crunch obviously stemmed from school projects that you always originally put off till the end am I right? Because that's exactly where my ability to do it came from. Writing 20 pages the night before an essay is due can sometimes lead to some of the best work you create. Love you guys, as I just found you RIGHT as I was changing my major to either fine arts or just film production in general. What major would you guys prefer? Let me know so I can learn the right things this semester! =D
