As a huge Spiderman fan, you guys understood the character more than Disney ever could. Something as simple as picking up a birthday cake turning into a huge problem is EXACTLY what Spiderman goes through. The way you made him choose to save the cake or civilians was just absolute perfection. I also love how you made it have a happy ending where the baker woman makes him another as a thank you. This makes me want to see a Spider-Man movie set in the early 1960s with that light hearted campy tone the early comics were. It would not only help stand out from other Spider-Man movies but other superhero movies now.
Damn this was sick. I loved the style of it! The chopper shots with Sam and Niko remind me of the old Starwars film they used to make. LOL Great Job Peter!

Rabadash actually, even tho it may be a bit exaggerated, I think it captured his character pretty spot on. Peter has thought of quitting being Spider-Man, and even did it for a while. More than once. He longs for a simpler life where he can have more time for people he loves, and even himself. That’s the whole point of Spider-Man. He’s relatable he’s just like us. The one big difference (besides him being a super hero lol) is that in the end, he always picks the selfless choice and puts others before himself, taking on the responsibility of being a hero and putting his life on the line. He’s truly the best superhero for all these reasons in my opinion
Rabadash You do realize that the cake was for MJ, right? It means a lot to her because it’s her birthday. Peter didn’t want to fail her, but his responsibility comes first. That’s Spider-Man
Holy hell! This video was... I really can't find the words. It's top notch, high quality stuff, from the actors, the era specific setting, the jokes, and the story as well. @@shuerzz5403 This is just fanboying for the sake of fanboying. Marvel is known for absolutely amazing CGI, there's hardly a reason to complain. While this short is super impressive given the constraints, it's not like it the CGI quality comes close to Marvel. Not by a long shot.
This video is exactly what represent Spider-man honestly. It shows consequences for peter actions he makes. He drops the cake and goes after the bad guys, coming back that the cake is ruin. But however, he gets another cake for saving her and the other people life. That's how you know that he gets appreciated by the people when he does something. He quips like Spidey does but he's still serious about doing his job. His life is a bit messy as you can tell that Pete forgot to get the cake and wasn't exactly on time to get it. I could go on but this is actually a good representation of Spider-man. Take notes MCU Spidey
Silverwing Liz is just his first crush. That’s literally it. Peter doesn’t know the girl at all. He only thinks that she’s pretty and that’s it. Those two have no emotional weight between them. Peter losing Liz is not a consequence
This looks amazing! The work Peter put into this is just outstanding. He's definitely going places in the film business. Great renders, Great Story, And an overall great video. Peter deserves a lot of praise for this. Well done Peter.
That was actually great!! The acting was on point, directing was clear and creative, the look and fx were great, humor and writing was witty and well done (love the callback of the balloons popping at the end) but most importantly, it didn't feel like a fan film. Was just a film about Spiderman. Hope this brings Peter places as he obviously has talent and deserves it. Awesome work my man!

Well the movie mostly takes place in Queens, not exactly any skyscrapers to swing from all that much, they even poke fun at it when we tries to swing through that park and it just goes into the sky.
Oh that was great. You guys capture a lot of elements even better than some movies/shows. You got Peter's humor, acrobatics and bad luck. On a deeper level, you show Peter putting responsibility before his social life. And you dresses like a dork too! That's Spider-Man!
The dude watched a car chase unfold in front of him twice before he thought to do something about it. He actively convinced himself that it was fine and that the cake was more important than stopping them even after he saw that they were driving recklessly and smashing through civilian vehicles. I liked it more after the second watch, but that really got to me at first. It's really out of character for Spider-Man, unless you wanted him to learn a lesson or whatever. But it's not clear if that's what they were going for, so I'm gonna assume that it isn't. Still, that's a minor annoyance for me and the rest of it is really good.
@@evanrailman7898 After seeing it a few times I agree that that's what they were probably going for, especially with that slow motion pan after he saves those people in front of the bakery. It's just that the film is only 8 minutes, so it makes that kind of character complexity difficult to achieve. It's hard to tell if he's conflicted and distracted with his personal life, or if he's neurotic and just kinda goes where the wind takes him. Obviously with it being Spider-Man it's more likely that it's the former, but it's difficult to properly convey that in 8 minutes.

Hi rocket I am groot.
Man for the longest time i thought this video was going to be stupid but when I actually watched it, I LOVED IT. The quality, the actors, the story of the video, plus using some of my favorite villains, The Enforcers were amazing same as Spider-Man
Same!
me too !!!!!
You thought this video was going to be stupid? Lol, you can't sleep on Digital Corridor!
I love how this has all perfect stuff of each Incarnation of Spiderman movies:
1. He looks like tobey Maguire, a high school graduate
2. He sounds and acts like Tom Holland’s
3. He is goofy and silly and his VFX shots look absolutely incredible like Andrew Garfield
he doesn’t sound or act like Holland
4. He interacts with the citizens the way Andrew Garfield would.
oh bruh yeha just like maguire, all asian and black haired. also sound more like garfield because they did a new york accent.
Still better than Ironboi jr😂
Doesnt look like tobey at all. And doesn't sound like tom 😐

The parts where he is swinging with his webs... The shots are perfect, I literally felt like I was swinging with spider-man too. Great job.
What do you expect from a MCU film?
@@SM-mc5uh I would expect that from Marvel, not from a random UA-cam channel (of course, Corridor isn't "random", they're really good but you get my point).

This makes me want to see a Spider-Man movie set in the early 1960s with that light hearted campy tone the early comics were. It would not only help stand out from other Spider-Man movies but other superhero movies now.

I think Across the Spiderverse referenced this in their cake scene!
Damn this was sick. I loved the style of it! The chopper shots with Sam and Niko remind me of the old Starwars film they used to make. LOL Great Job Peter!
@Joel olivo your last name means olive in spanish
@Joel olivo r/whoosh
@Joel olivo So I guess in your vocabulary something like "widown" would mean "fenêtre" in English ?
The lighting and texturing on Peter’s digital Spider-Man model looks way better and more realistic than Sony Pictures ImageWorks’ in Marc Webb’s _The Amazing Spider-Man_ duology, Giant Killer Robots’ in Sam Raimi’s _Spider-Man 3,_ and Sony Pictures ImageWorks’ model they collaborated with Luma Pictures and Digital Domain on _Spider-Man: Homecoming._ Even the composited live action footage on the digital city blended way better than those movies. *What’s wrong with these major visual effect studios that they can’t get their stuff together?*
Yeah when I first saw the helicopter shot I thought of that as well and started laughing my head off XD
this was the real Spiderman. in just 8 min. they managed to capture the essence of spiderman and peter parker.
Martin Rossi eh mostly
Albeit even cheesier than Sam Raime's movies
Rabadash actually, even tho it may be a bit exaggerated, I think it captured his character pretty spot on. Peter has thought of quitting being Spider-Man, and even did it for a while. More than once. He longs for a simpler life where he can have more time for people he loves, and even himself. That’s the whole point of Spider-Man. He’s relatable he’s just like us. The one big difference (besides him being a super hero lol) is that in the end, he always picks the selfless choice and puts others before himself, taking on the responsibility of being a hero and putting his life on the line. He’s truly the best superhero for all these reasons in my opinion
really yess
Rabadash You do realize that the cake was for MJ, right? It means a lot to her because it’s her birthday. Peter didn’t want to fail her, but his responsibility comes first. That’s Spider-Man
Holy hell! This video was... I really can't find the words. It's top notch, high quality stuff, from the actors, the era specific setting, the jokes, and the story as well. It might be my favourite Spiderman and maybe my favourite Corridor video!
I thought the Corridor guys directed it, but it turns out Peter did? All by himself? Congratulations man!
I only wish you had a cameo there
He did have a cameo, he was speaking to Sam over the radio in the helicopter!

That was actually great!! The acting was on point, directing was clear and creative, the look and fx were great, humor and writing was witty and well done (love the callback of the balloons popping at the end) but most importantly, it didn't feel like a fan film. It was clear Peter not only understood the character but was trying to tell his own story, not just put his favorite characters on screen. Honestly impressed. Wasn't a Spiderman fan film. Was just a film about Spiderman. Hope this brings Peter places as he obviously has talent and deserves it. Awesome work my man!
Acting was garbo imo but wverything else was great

This has more web swinging than the entire homecoming film.
@Tidder T The fact that it's even close to being true is disturbing though...

These guys really get Spider-Man!
Still, that's a minor annoyance for me and the rest of it is really good.
this video got the aesthetic of spiderman, in which TASM 2 does, but was a shitty movie
@@autumn_breeze616 he still is young and fallible, and he debates with himself for a bit, but at the end, he makes the right choice.
Definitely the best fan-made Spider-man short film ever made. Superbly done.
