I saw in the gameplay you were using rapier/blunderbuss, do you think a good build can be made out of that? I just started playing and I enjoyed those two weapons the most kind of messing around with different weapons on pc until aeternum release so I can start over with the one I like most. I was thinking like 250 int, 100-150 dex, 0-50 str, 100 con? Thank you
The gameplay was SnS BB. But! I definitely think you could work out so some sort of build using the INT scaling they share. Unfortunately I don't know how well they would pair with one another because to me they're pretty heavy burst weapons. Their might be a case to be made with using Rapiers right tree for movement and such in pvp. Using reposte as a stun and then dumping BB abilities but I think in PVE I would use one or the other. Hope this helps!!! ❤
Great video for a new player like me! I can definitely see myself enjoying the Rapier/Void Gauntlet combo. It would be really helpful to know how you set up your attributes tho
@@VanePlaysNW I know that it’s not common to run those I wanna bring something new to the table so it will be hard to be countered by old an new players
most important thing ATM at maxlevel and pushing your GS down to get dmg reduction from AGS messing up 'scaling' for low lvl player basing it off gear score instead of level
Everything in new world is usable and has its own purpose! But there are some activities I would always advise using melee over ranged and vice versa. the build I showcased in this video are just my personal favorites especially for leveling. I have an in depth weapon guide coming out soon :)
just an hater, who spread false infos, atm compared to 2021, there is alot of content, alot of things to do and learn, tere are many things you can do in pvp, with wars and arena being the most fun...if you say differently you are just an hater, AGS is probably not the greatest of the companies because this was their first mmo, but they added many things in the game and they made it just better overall, now we just need to wait to know their plans for 2025 after console release

You definitely can! Although a more common pairing would be Musket Rapier :)

I've been running a musket + hatchet combo since launch and it is a great leveling combo.
Tip: for gathering skills try to get the tools that give extra xp, it helps a lot more than you think.
