Newark has a Pro-cathedral of St. Patrick as well as the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart. The C/B is worthy of your attention. It is the fifth largest cathedral in the USA and seats over 2500 people easily. It is 10,000 sq. Larger than St. Patrick’s in NYC! It is the finest example of French Gothic style in the Western Hemisphere. The windows are considered ( by one of the chief docents of Chartres) in the same category as Chartres and Norte Dame.
Notre Dame Cathedral of Paris has two towers...and a large Rosetta.... Personally, I see this as a beautiful amalgam of Nôtre Dame and Sacré Coeur...both very French. 🙏🏻💖👑
Thank you

I believe the mosaics weren't finished until 1988
