    In this video I unbox and review my new Canyon Grizl:ON CF 7 electric gravel bike / eBike. This video is an "extra" to my last video in which I introduce my new UA-cam video series; Pedals & Pints. In the Pedals & Pints series I am looking to explore the adventurous side of craft beer - by cycling to exceptional breweries and pubs, embracing the thrill of the ride and the joy of beer tasting, all while promoting a more balanced and active lifestyle. So sit back and enjoy me on my new cycling-centric adventures using my Canyon electric gravel bike! Cheers!

    Whilst every style of beer explained may not be all the craft beer channel may not be about, looking in to how you've been drinking beer wrong your entire life, how beer is made, brewing your first homemade beer, talking to beer experts, identifying cheap vs expensive beers, price points, and answering beer questions from brewmasters is all a part of my real ale craft beer journey.

    Dude, you need to pack this bike up and get your ass to New England. There’s some excellent gravel riding near Alchemist and Treehouse.

    Thanks for sharing this. Planning on buying one of the Grizl bikes soon myself, so watching this was super helpful.

      Glad it helped! I'm a few months in now and still absolutely love it, haven't changed anything yet. I'd absolutely buy a non-electric Grizl should I have the need after my experience so far.

    Hey! Great review and video! What is the size of your bike, and what's your height? I'm between sizes M and L and have to decide which one to order. Your input could be helpful.

      Absolutely - I'm 6'2" and went for a Large. Typically I'd be borderline XL with most brands but went with Canyon's recommendation on their site and must say its a very good fit for me.

    Hi enjoyed your video. My bike is now on order. Having ridden a bosch powdered bike for 2 yrs I was concerned about having to change mode by taking one hand off bar. For this reason I have ordered Bosch mini remote which will give me back control hands on bar. Will let you know how I get on.

      Awesome! And thanks for the comment. I haven't had any issues with changing off the bar other than accidentally turning the damn thing off with the wrong button a couple time! Be keen to hear how you get on with it. Cheers!

      IMHO the handlebar mini remote is mandatory. Huge oversight on Canyons part to leave it off the bike. Also the always on rear lights are a fail. When on the road they are great. Not so much on the trail or path. Bright red lights say "look at me, I'm riding an e-bike" inviting unwanted attention. Needs a switch to turn them off. I put a piece of tape on the light lens. Investigating a RF switch for home made on/off function.

      Yes, works very well with the Bosch Flow Connect app, in-app navigation and stats etc.

      I’m a couple months in an honestly no complaints! Only issues I can really think of are that I’m still having the software update issue and my bike bag seems to not stay attached as well as others but the bike itself is fantastic.

    Looks like a lovely bike but you don’t need an e-bike for your riding on your video.

    • @TheCrumbyBeard
      @TheCrumbyBeard  16 днів тому

      Very few people need an ebike - damn good fun though!
