Girl, I had to learn about my natural hair from scratch. Nobody in my family is natural, I live in Sweden and I was 13 at he time. The amount of damage I have suffered is painful honestly. But now I'm almost 17 and after years of begging my parents for money to buy products, years at discovering my hair pattern and what works for it (before the age of 13 I had never seen my natural hair) I can finally say that I now know what works for my hair. Now I pray for growth and length 🙏
Bro I feel u, my family is transitioning to natural hair but no one in my family experiences with products so I also have to start from scratch. Been natural since about 11 and I'm turning 17(wow its been awhile) but u want to go full natural so I need to begin the product binge and experimentation. Pray for us.
Oof. I remember being there. 13 was a struggle, lol! Didn't learn about leave-ins, or deep conditioning, or non e of that until much later. I feel you so much on finding products that work as you go. Hang in there, sis! We all working on that length and health journey together! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Olive oil as a pre-poo is the truth! I also went back to using Blue Magic too. I don’t care what anyone says. It's great for sealing in that moisture, and it works for me. Plus you only have to use the smallest amount, so it lasts for a really long time.
You need to do your affiliate links to your products on Amazon so u can make that money every time one of us buys the hair products, blankets, clothes, art tools anything and everything you use
Girrrrrrl this was the funniest natural hair video I’ve seen. 😂 I really like the As I Am Double Butter Cream. I think it’s affordable and it’s good stuff. I just tried the TGIN Deep Conditioner and it worked well.
1. I thought I was the only one that named my hair, Curly B. She's a defiant two going on 3 year old child and she doesn't want to to be in a bun, it won't happen. She likes water and being left alone in a protective style or wash and go.
You said you are medium porosity. I've noticed that the medium porosity naturals usually have to switch up their products every few months. So I'm not surprised your old school products didn't work
Really? No wonder Manuka hair masque doesn't work anymore on my hair. I thought it was becos of my change of environment.🤔We really do need more info on this.
Girl I feel you on the shrinkage mourning. My hair never used to shrink up as much as it does now! Now when my hair dries I have like an inch smh for shame. An outage. Disgrace. Dishonor. Dishonor on all my hair. Lol I fit two disney references in there. Okay I'll go now. 😶
I watch her videos because she keeps me so entertained. Love that she tried this experiment because our hair does require different types of products after a blow-out. I never would've thought to try Blue Magic though...hmm
Your video are always entertaining! I don't know if this is helpful at all but a I also went through a time when my hair was rejecting my normal products. I would switch them up only for the new products to stop working soon after. I figured out that my hair woes was because of hard water so I started incorporating a chelating shampoo into my regimen. Surprisingly it didn't dry out my hair and my products started working for my hair again. I've heard that products leave residue behind that can build up over time so clarifying or chelating can help to reset our hair.
I loved your video... as a stylist I must say you put a lot of stuff in your hair less is more I’ve had to change so many women’s routines because UA-cam makes people feel like they need 50 products....not trying to bash just offering an opinion based on experience~anywho...your awesome and entertaining. I’m def a new subscriber💁🏾♀️
I loved this video! Yes to petroleum products for type 4s! I tried all the gels & creams & nothing compares to hair grease for 4b/4C hair. This video was SO creative & funny! I subbed.
My friend has hair like yours but a bit more loose and she straightened her already short hair to get it longer so that she could cut it shorter Let’s just say she may have no hair when she gets it back natural
I’m blown away by how good this video is! I wish I watched something like this early in my journey so I knew how to appropriately rate and determine how good products are for my hair. Love to see it!
I'm so grateful to God that I found your channel!!!! My hair is 4c-still not sure what porosity-fine strand-slow growth hair..... I've basically struggled through my natural hair journey and often wondered what is wrong with with my hair until I discovered your channel! You're such a blessing. Keep doing what you're doing!
Love your vids! We have to unlearn that Shrinkage is bad. Shrinkage is a sign of healthy kinky/coily hair. We also have to let go of wanting long hair as a sign of healthy hair. Kinky/coily hair when it is healthy and growning you will see VOLUME not length. Your hair will look fuller which may not seem long at first glance. Remember to give your real natural self a chance.
She is refreshing!!!! Some of the other videos you can tell they're trying too hard to be cute! She doesn't have to try, she's being herself so that makes her even more beautiful. She's a beautiful young lady naturally. Keep being weirdly you. We love you and your videos, keep them coming girl! 🤗 ❤️
Could you do a "How to:" washday video? Looking at your routine and comparing it to mine yours is definitely more refined and put together. I'm having trouble figuring out what I should definitely do for wash day and what should be apart of my everyday routine.
I feel you on the set backs. Love your spin when it comes to you and your natural hair. I think I will do the half and half to weed out products that are ineffective.Happy healthy hair journey.
Are you my new favourite UA-camr ever? .....yes. yes you are. I appreciate all the work that goes into your videos. Your sense of humour. You're just new and fresh and everything I never knew I needed from a content creator. You, my dear, have a fan for life.
I just paid $30 at target. I got the Manuka honey deep conditioner and shampoo. Head and shoulders shampoo. Suave natural coconut conditioner. The only one I've used before is the Manuka honey shampoo so we shall see. Now I just need to get some sulfur 8.
we have the same typa shrinkage 😭 people in school come over to me and say “your hair hasn’t grown in 6 months..” Y’all keeping track??? And for your information it has been growing, I just got shrinkage 💀
Oh my Lord!!! I watched 1 minute of your video, paused and subscribed. Go to 2 minutes and 28 second and wrote this comment. From the bottom of my heart... I love you. Don't take that the weird way
I legit had heart palpitations when you put blue magic on your hair bc my hairdressers only use it when they’re braiding my hair!!😂I also think you should do a trim bc since 3inches of your hair fell off you should just trim it to avoid more breakage
I have type 4 hair with a little bit of 3c, dry, itchy scalp, and low porosity so the struggle is real to me. The tea tree conditioner has no slip at all so I feel your pain but I do love the shampoo. This is why I dont care to use conditioner for wash day because it's hard to find one with slip and I don't won't to waste more money looking for one. I feel the same way about deep conditioners but I plan to try the shea moisture deep conditioner because my little sister love it. I find my hair loves creamy products not thick products even though I have found some that it does likes.😘
Also consider starting star puppy merch line most UA-camrs start with some type of clothing you can design a wax warmer since that's one of your signature items you like a lot
I use olaplex shampoo/conditioner and various different hair oils. I like to make my own masks. I never use heat or blow dry my hair to protect it. And when I put styling products in hair I only use Miss Jessie’s Pillow Soft Curls. My hair is somewhere between 2B and 2C. I thought I did a lot to my hair, but wow. The dedication you have is amazing. (Ps your hair is beautiful!)
Before i watch this , i just wanna say thank u for actually showing my hair type and being a goddess and showing us your tutorials .let the video commence !
hey try peppermint oil and another oil on scalp every night. It might tingling alot at first but it will eventually go away. my hair started to grow. Try for a month.
Finally. My actuall hair twin. Tired of others on UA-cam saying there hair is 4c and coolly when it curls and doesn't shrink then it straightened perfect when any heat touches it then claim to have my hair type.....anywho, thanks for the help with the products im tired buying all these products that do nothing for my hair

Same on the olive oil pre-poo and blue magic. But I have the Indian Hemp one.

This was the best hair video ever.
"I should have 4c'n this!" Looool I died 😂 I desperately need to try something like this!
Anytime your products stop working, try clarifying your hair. The buildup could be blocking the products from penetrating your strands.
Any clarifying shampoo you can recommend?
@@Joygre1 Suave or VO5
It smells how dirty blonde looks ......I can't I'm crying 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The fact that your hair shrinks up way more now means that it's healthier, so that's a win!
I've been using Mane Choice and I have 4C hair their whole Beauty line is the best thing ever.
Which products by mane choice do you use?
"We looking nice and floofy....We looking good and Pomeranian...which is forever the goal" 😂🤣 you're so spunky I love it lol
