very informative and educated uncle, praise him
This old man explanied everything so well.
Seems like the people of Ganish (Ganesh) 1000 years ago were Hindus and those Masjids were Hindu Temples. Amazing! I would love to visit this place. Shabbir Ji ‘s knowledge and style of explaining things is amazing.

Wow what a history and this old person is so knowledgeable about all the history of constructionand events of this place. So impressive.

This village reminded me of Turtuk village, I recently visited in Ladakh. The architecture and setup is so much similar. I must also appreciate the urdu language and knowledge used by gentleman is so beautiful. It was complete treat to watch the entire episode ❤

What an exciting episode! Thanks a ton Karl and also a big thank you to the tour guide uncle who gave us a detailed explanation of each and every part of the site. Wish you a happy and safe journey!
So interesting. This gentleman has so much knowledge.
the way he explained about SWASTIK ❤❤🙏
Thanks for showing the beautiful village of Ganish and the 7 amazing Hindu temples. Thankfully still standing because of the UNESCO heritage tag given to it.
He categorically said there were no hindu temples here, people belonged to Buddhism.
Of course he said that. For people who don’t understand Hinduism will accept anything he says or was told to say. There are hundreds of thousands of temples in India that have the same architecture and layout. So clearly history is being distorted. And do you believe anyone will build 7 mosques in such a confined space! Ask yourself.

Thank you Karl for capturing this for etetnity. This knowledge likely would've been lost some day otherwise. I hope this nice uncle is training the younger generation in the rich history of Ganish.
I really love this video especially due to the detailed history of almost each thing in the video
🎉🎉🎉Some symbols belongs to hinduism.
I think that was a temple as lotus flower means peace and prosperity in hinduism.
Lord Ganesha is symbol of knowledge.
The village's name was probably Ganesh village too which became Ganish later.

The reminiscence of Hinduism is still alive in Hunza. Forceful conversation and regression does not eradicate ones roots
Bitan ( Shamanic) religion was oldest religion of the Burusho community who speak an isolated language Burushaski later Hinduism and than Buddhism dominated and finally islam the Region of Hunza Nagar( Burushal)😮
The Bön religion is also originated in the bru zha (Burushal) region which is now only in tibet
What joke you are talking village name ganesh swastika in doors trishul on bell 🔔 in entrance of temple not in mosque
if they were forcefully converted, were they also forced to make those beautiful carvings that must have taken days and true passion with a sword on their neck? you would think if they are forcefully converted the people who converted them would destroy their place of worship? use your brain?
Forceful conversion and regression? 😂by who? Mughals? 😂😂 this is why you shouldn't bring your north indian history everywhere.

Hello female solo traveller here . I am so excited to share that I'll be visiting Pakistan next month! From everything I've heard, it sounds like a stunning country with a relaxed vibe and welcoming people. I can't wait to experience it all firsthand and share my journey through videos on this channel. Love from the USA

Actually, bring a male friend or your partner. As women solo traveling in some areas are frowned upon. You at least have a male close relationship to travel.

The Ghizer Valley and Hunza valley in Gilgit-Baltistan are connected to Tajikistan via the Wah Khan border. So it is quite clear that central Asian cultural influence is quite evident there. Many Friends from India confusing Turks with Turkish. Turks mainly belong to Central Asia,( recent Tajikistan, Uzbekistan Etc), from where some tribes traveled to Antioch in search of water and grassy fields and later became Turkish. The guide refers to central Asian architecture and roots going back to the Zoroastrians, not the Hindus.
