Kart's mini lotus jam pau is made in Malaysia. They are sweet, it's more of a dessert. Kart's also make other flavour pau too like BBQ chicken, curry chicken, curry beef, red bean, coconut jam but im not sure if the local Asian shop near your parent's house would carry all the flavours.
Obviously, your parents will like sweet flavor food while Cantonese foods are sweet flavored , especially roast duck, roast pork, onion oiled chicken and crispy skin pork. You must send them some frozen for a try first.
