My wife's hair was looking thin, and she had not been happy with beauticians who had been cutting it, so I watched your video here , and cut awhile, and then watched a little more, and when I finished her hair looks fuller, and nice, and she is happy and so am I. thank you Eddie P
This has got to be the best haircut tutorial I’ve seen in a long time the edits and arrows perfectly convey everything going into this style, I absolutely love it
This is 9/5/2022. I just cut my hair according to your great instructions and my hair looks fabulous and light weight! I have been cutting my hair for a long time from various UA-cam videos but none like yours. THANK YOU!
I got this haircut today. The hairdresser styled it by using a spray for curls, she formed the curls with one hand while holding the hair dryer in the other. She seemed to enjoy it but at the end of the day I was happy to wash it away. Curls should be free to bounce around instead of getting all sticky. This tutorial is showing the right way.
@@necurrence1776 There are of course people who prefer their curls without much product or styling, but in order to get neat, groomed, moisturized, textured and long-lasting curls, you have to style them properly with enough product. The technique was good, but the hair wasn’t wet enough and i saw no products being used here. On top of that: the fatal mistake of the hairdresser going through the clients hair as it was dry 😩 Never do that with curls, especially no-product curls! The clients curls turned to waves and her hair looked messy and dry... Thats just like buying nice clothes but wearing them unironed and wrinkled. xD
Agreed. Her hair looks a bit frizzy to me at the end. She definitely needed something to help with moisture. Her hair in the beginning looked better when it came to not looking frizzy.
The cut was great, but as a curly girl, I have to tell you.... when styling curly hair, you CANT keep running your fingers through th curls and flapping/flipping it all around like that. You also always need to apply leave-in followed by either a mousse or a gel. Diffuse dry, and DONT touch it until it's dry. Scrunch it, DONT run your fingers through it.
I have curly hair as well and thoroughly running my fingers or comb through hair is the only way to spread product evenly using a small amount. If the cut is good, then curls will reform immediately when scrunching. Don’t even have to be dripping wet
This helped me so much!!! Thank you. My autistic daughter doesn’t like anyone touching her hair and I followed this tutorial and I gotta say wow it came out so good ❤
Stuck in Q-tine and a family member asked for a trim (I am not a stylist) and I found this video and enjoyed every second of watching it!! Made it so understandable and approachable, but still so clearly highlights all of the training and skill that it takes to do this work! My thoughts while watching: “Oooooh I get it! But there’s no way in heck I’ll be able to do that!” Hah. Still really amazing to watch.
Oh, I wish more stylists knew how to cut curly hair. This is a perfect cut. I may have to do it myself, because no one I've gone to since I've moved to New Mexico knows how to cut hair. At least I'll be able to do the front myself.
It can be done by the same tecnic, but taking care that you'll need to deal with more volume, "rouding" the layers more as they fall into place, not leaving the bottom ones too long
Hey there's a channel Aneethun where they teach you how to cut CURLY hair. Thing is she speaks portuguese, she's Brazilian. Since youtube decided not to have translated captions anymore you'll have to learn only by watching. She dry cuts curly hair because every single curl in our curly hair dries out differently, some shrink more than others. Anyway, give it a try. :) Here's my playlist to cut hair. Love love love this haircut for curly hair! This is how I wish I could get my haircut! Wish I could get my hair cut by you :/ No one in this town seems to know how to cut curly hair to get results like this :(
I’m a cosmetology student and watching this is just my fun entertainment because we’re currently on a different unit and I want to learn some other fun cuts and I am making up the straps in my mind it’s so amazing that this seems like something cosmetologists do regularly while also being something an average person can do
Wow!! I used this tutorial to cut my friend’s hair and it turned out incredible. I must say that i’ve never done a haircut myself and with this video was really easy to do it.
Great tutorial! Explains nicely what she is doing. The only complaint is that i tried this cut on my aunt and the faceing framing is styled for sombody with a middle part. It's way too heavy on one side for a side part. But i figured that part out and it's a nice cut once i figured out how to do the face framing a little differently
i really dont know if my comment reaches you...i bumped into your channel by chance...i followed your directions and did few haircuts...my clients have been so happy ...most importantly i got some amazing reviews on google...thereby getting more clients...Thank you so much for sharing these amazing haircuts to the minutest detail🙏😊
I'm glad to see someone teaching one than the inverted bob aka the Karen. I went to 5 hair salons and no one knew any other hair cut. This has been going on for more than 10 years in my area.
I just did it on myself. I'm sure it would have looked better if I had someone else do it, but it turned out pretty ok. I think if you're the right kind of bored, you can pull it off, lol
😍😍 Beautiful! 👏👏 I still cannot find any hairdresser that can do as good a job as in this tutorial. I'm always disappointed afterward. You're so awesome. 💯💕
I needed this video! Your model is gorgeous. My mom likes her hair styled like it was in the 80s but can't find a hairdresser who knows how to style it right. When it's layered correctly, it falls into place, gives her hair body and suits her face. The closest description I can think of is like a mullet. It's short layers on top and long hair but it blends in. It's not as starkly contrasting as a mullet would be and it needs to also go up in a ponytail.
Love the cut I’m thinking of getting one myself. I would have added some lightweight products such as leave in conditioner, heat protectant on individual sections of the hair while combing through those individual sections with a Paddle brush. Then I would defuse it and then sealed it with oils on the ends to keep in the moisture. That cut looks great though💕👍🏽
Ok, if I understood correctly, first you cut the crown and when you finished, you lifted the part of the nape, using as a guide what you cut at the crown? But I'm not sure because I saw you cut lenght in the crown again.. the part at 2:35, that's where I'm confused..

the cutting was really good, but i hoped that there would have been more effort in styling to show off her beautiful curls!

It’s to show the movement in the cut and the layers for the video.
You realise what works for your curly hair doesn't work for everyone? Chill out
Cosmetologist here haha none of this matters if you have loose curls already and she does 💁🏼♀️

Great haircut. Thanks for sharing your time and knowledge. I am gonna be using this on some of my curly clients
Why can't I get anyone to cut my hair like this? This is the perfect haircut for me!!!
Gorgeous. 💕 I see many women with wavy or curly hair with layers that look choppy and not blended in. This cut was seamless 😊

90 degree layered haircut off the round of the head. Pie shaped sections.
