  • Ever wondered what the cause of your prostate issue? There is a chance that you might have a virus that has caused your prostate inflammation. It is also likely that you have never been tested for the virus that causes 40% of all Prostate Cancers: Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). Biopsy testing of tissues from men with BPH and men with Prostate Cancer have shown the presence of an active viral state of HPV. The links between HPV and cellular changes of the prostate gland are often overlooked by traditional medical doctors and it is important to understand the possible cause of prostatitis, benign prostatic hyperplasia and even prostate cancer progression.
The primary prostate health concerns in men typically involve conditions such as benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and prostate cancer. BPH refers to the noncancerous enlargement of the prostate gland, which can cause urinary symptoms. Prostate cancer, on the other hand, is the development of malignant cells within the prostate gland.
The risk factors for BPH and prostate cancer primarily include age, family history, and hormonal imbalances. Testosterone and dihydrotestosterone (DHT) levels, as well as genetic factors, are believed to play a significant role in the development of these conditions

Here are a few studies that have investigated the potential relationship between human papillomavirus (HPV) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
Study: "Detection of human papillomavirus DNA in benign hyperplastic and malignant neoplastic prostate tissue" (1995) - This study aimed to investigate the presence of HPV DNA in prostate tissue samples from patients with BPH and prostate cancer. The researchers detected HPV DNA in a small percentage of both benign and malignant prostate tissue samples, suggesting a possible association between HPV and prostate pathology.
Study: "High-risk human papillomavirus infection and prostate cancer: A population-based study" (2013) - This population-based study examined the association between high-risk HPV infection and prostate cancer. The researchers found a higher prevalence of high-risk HPV types in prostate cancer tissue samples compared to control samples. The study did not specifically focus on BPH.
Study: "Detection of human papillomavirus and Epstein-Barr virus DNA in benign prostate hyperplasia and prostatic adenocarcinoma" (2014) - This aimed to detect the presence of HPV and Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) DNA in prostate tissue samples from patients with BPH and prostate adenocarcinoma. The researchers identified HPV DNA in a small proportion of both BPH and cancer samples, suggesting a potential association between HPV and prostate pathology.
Study: "Association of human papillomavirus infection and prostate cancer: a global systematic review and meta-analysis" (2018) - This systematic review and meta-analysis analyzed multiple studies investigating the association between HPV infection and prostate cancer. The findings suggested a weak positive association between HPV infection and prostate cancer. However, the review did not specifically focus on BPH.
It is important to note that while these studies provide insights into the possible connection between HPV and prostate diseases, the overall evidence is limited, and further research is required to establish a definitive link between HPV and BPH.

What are symptoms of this virus?
My brother is 83, he gets a lot of UTI’s. In addition he has a problem with prostate. Ex: getting a foley for reasons unknown. Extremely painful for him. Is it possible he should be tested for hpv? He’s terrified of doctors in area of urology due to fear of Foley and it was EXTREMELY PAINFUL for him. Any suggestions?
Also, when he gets uti , his mind changes and he acts like a person who may have had a stroke. His mind is different. Would this be a problem or should he ask urologist for a hpv test?

Quite often only lubrication is used on men over 50 !
Lidocaine gel should be used for any man with a history of pain while inserting a catheter !
But it takes an extra 5 minutes and too many nurses are not concerned about a man's pain !
We are supposed to man up and stand a little pain !

The symptoms of a UTI (urinary tract infection) can vary but commonly include frequent urination, pain or burning during urination, cloudy or strong-smelling urine, and lower abdominal discomfort. It's important for your brother to consult with a healthcare professional about his recurring UTIs and prostate issues. They can assess his specific situation and provide appropriate guidance.
As for testing for HPV (human papillomavirus), it's typically not part of routine urological testing for UTIs or prostate problems. HPV is primarily associated with certain types of cancers, including cervical, anal, and oropharyngeal cancer.

I'm sorry to hear about your diagnosis. It's great to hear that you're responding well to treatment. While it's natural to wish for prevention, sometimes certain conditions are unavoidable. I got mono at 14 years old as a freshman in high school and I was told the true story behind it and I got to see it under a microscope for myself and was told that it was not human origin. They did have a human subject but they had tested it on the animal subject primates and dogs

If I follow my doctor and do everything she tells me like having every procedure she wants me to have I've already had a leapbiopsy back in May and I'm never intimate with my partner ever again or anyone for that matter what are my chances of my next pap smear results being normal? The results of my leap biopsy were grade 1 I don't know what that means but my OBGYN told me that's good,
For most women after they have a leap biopsy what's usually their next pap smear that follows that results?

I really depends on the type of hpv. Some can be persistent and other more aggressive with cellular change. Ask more specifics from the doc about the dna test and what type of hpv. We have over 200 types.
Some women have leaps and they are negative.other positive. But at the end of the day these are bandaids - tissue removal does not clear hpv. I welcome you to take my masterclass. Significantly insightful in how to turn over those infected cells

@@NaturalHealthResources all I remember is a doctor told me that my HPV was between stage 2 and I stage 3 and after I had the leap biopsy back in May when I got the results she said it was grade one but I don't know what that , I'm not scheduled to have another pap smear until September I'm just hoping for the best , I would definitely be interested in your HPV masterclass but I do live on a budget
I guess it depends on if I can afford it 😥

I got HPV from my partner and then it became precancerous and then I had to have surgery to remove
Now I'm waiting for my next pap smear and colposcopy I'm just hoping that everything will be okay this is really scary stuff, even if you remain faithful with someone you can still be at risk for this ☹️😭

I'm sorry to hear about your experience with HPV and the concerns you're facing. It can indeed be a scary situation, but it's important to remember that you're taking the right steps by staying proactive with regular check-ups and follow-ups.

@@NaturalHealthResources it's scary because of the cancer scare but it's also very painful because of the cheating my partner did , I was with him and him only 49 years but he cheated so much I guess I should also put the blame on myself for staying he told me he never heard of HPV until I told him what happened
I didn't know much about HPV either until after I was told that it became precancerous , what else can cause HPV is it only pass through sexual contact? Can not wearing underwear also cause HPV? Sometimes I don't wear underwear because I feel very sensitive and uncomfortable but now I've been feeling paranoid if this can cause me harm 😀
