If Nike could’ve done a synthetic and leather Tiempo at the same time, that would’ve been so sick. Have two options like a “Tiempo Legend 10 Elite KL” and a “Tiempo Legend 10 Elite Flytouch” that way people could choose what upper they want. Same silhouette and sole plate, just different uppers.
I’ve typically been checks over stripes, but with the Tiempo really regressing and the return of the Predator with the tongue, I might have to join Adidas
Nike are in a no-win situation with the new Tiempo. It’s a great boot, but leather heads will ONLY play in real leather boots, so it almost doesn’t matter how good they are.
As someone who loved the CTR360, I’m interested in the tiempo. I like leather but have never been a die hard leather guy. Not a dealbreaker for me. I just want a good pair of boots.
The tiempo silo is dead. It’s best to think of this boot as a new Nike silo altogether or a return of the Magista Obra. As a successor to the Opus 2 v2, (specifically the low cut k-lite version) it’s a really good boot imo. I personally find the toe box too narrow though. I’m hoping it’ll stretch a little with a couple more weeks of use.
@@trolltrackerthey’re amazing in their own rights but if we’re comparing to what Nike used to have in the leather market it doesn’t have the tiempo heritage. Plus the lack of proper leather options is what makes people angry
These new adi boots are a really great release. Look like the best modern leather option (lightweight, sturdy and great touch). Just wondering whoever owns these, is it better to go true to size or good to go half size down?
hi i just bought a pair of f50 adizeros from 2014 10/10 condition, but i am a bit worried about durability. i have read that boots from like 10 years ago break faster because they have just been sitting around for so long that the glue has stiffened. do you have any experience using older football boots? and do you think the fg stud pattern is suitable for modern ag pitches? thanks
Sell them to me. How did you have a problem breaking them in?? Please do describe lol They're ready out the box. They're much more water resistant than the 9s
@@trolltracker in my opinion they are just too plasticy . They don’t mould around your feet, they always stay same. For me they are stiff and I couldn’t brake them im even playing games in them for 90 minutes how I want them
Don’t think the legend 10 holds a candle to any of the earlier tiempos but what a ctr360 or magista opus would be like in 2023 and beyond nor the copa pure is anywhere what adidas used to have with any of the 4 adipure models or the final 2 adipure 11pros however it’s very much it’s own thing that works kinda reminds you off mizuno rebula cup.
Nike's mistake might have been not offering both the leather and the syn versions, at least for a phase-out period. But the sales will tell. They'll probably still sell tons. I personally stopped wearing leather bc I played a lot in damp conditions, but I miss the feels so maybe they are the ones for me anyway?
Can’t go wrong with joining the future…. Death and torture of animals to enjoy ‘the beautiful game’ is not needed…. I once loved the feel of TIEMPOS like almost everyone but growing up you realise how unnecessary it is. New TIEMPO is a great step into a better world of tomorrow…. and tbf it’s not even a bad boot! It stands up against a lot of great boots even without the sustainability factors
The Copa wins by a landslide, nothing compares to a natural leather. That said, just save money and buy a better boot in the classic Copa Mundial. Full leather upper cannot be beat
@@trolltracker the Copas? Of course they are. There is a reason they still make them since 1980. And the Copa Pure 2 has the same water resistance as the Tiempos if you care about that sort of thing
Nike is absolute not making a mistake. It gives players and consumers another option. Nike using the new material to simulate leather’s softness and feel, they also avoid some of the disadvantage of kangaroo leather. It’s the way that people making innovation!
Wouldn’t say it’s a mistake given Nike has a good track record of great synthetic uppers like Kangalite or Teijin synthetics but we know it’s just for cost cutting. Also what makes a lot of people very very angry is other than the change of materials, people just don’t like the fact the price didn’t drop much despite using a far cheaper materials, the shape and fit for some basically is what makes many angry. What made the previous Tiempo legends(1-9) quite special aren’t just having a leather upper or for people that loves leather but also it was one of the few readily available boots that favors people with wide feet. The legend 10 sure can fit folks with wide feet but the shape has been an issue for many
@@trolltrackerI disagree, this is a mistake. I've been wearing the Tiempo from the 4s up to the 9s. The 10s are nowhere near its predecessors. Also, it's retailing at the same price point which is just a cash-grab at this pt with less manufacturing costs
If you’re ripping blood vessel because the Legend 10s aren’t fully leather Please kindly send me your tears in a bottle as I want to preserve them 😂😂😂😂😂
My first Nike boot was the tiempo 9 after always being with adidas. I’ve now got the tiempo 10 and even though they’re different, I love them both! Watching the copa reviews is still making want to try them because of the leather! Looks like you’re not missing out regardless of whatever boot you choose
As someone who wore k leather boots my entire soccer career I personally love the new Tiempos and the synthetic leather. They are comfortable and fit great. That’s all I care about these days.
I wore nike va adidas bc adidas cheaped out using calf skin on their f50 while messi wears k leather. Now nike is cheaping out. And adidas continues to do so even if thr calfskin material is better than back then

Literally my exact stance on this matter currently too

Ok I am sold, now can Adidas make an actual AG plate?
As someone who loved the CTR360, I’m interested in the tiempo. I like leather but have never been a die hard leather guy. Not a dealbreaker for me. I just want a good pair of boots.
The problem with the tiempo 10 is that it has a narrow and pointy toe in comparison to the ctr360 maestri III so the fit would be different
Nike are dead wrong here. And I prefer nike over adidas 99% of the time.
Other 1% saved for Nike mercurials 🔥
Meh…they will be fine. People tend to get pissed off at change and then just move on in the end.

I find the legend 10 more in the lines of the ctr360 or magista opus specifically the version 2.
No way to compare these boots. Adidas copa 2+ one of the best boots in 2023 dude
Nike focusing more on how to sue Skechers
Okay
As predicted he said both are good - too scared to say the Tiempos are mid AT BEST and Nike made a bad decision.
He would be lying to just say those things. He's not scared. I own the tiempos and they're amazing
@@trolltrackerIt's not that the Tiempo 10 is a bad boot. The lack of a top leather option from Nike is what isn't being well received.
