- Australian pianist Sefton Daly performs his own composition "Brown Study" in the movie WHEREVER SHE GOES (1951). The movie was based on the life of concert pianist Eileen Joyce and is likely Sefton Daly's only film appearance. Daly was known for playing at the Minerva Theatre in Sydney and accompanied Noel Coward during WWII. He spent a short time working in London's West End theaters in the '50s, but he was also one of the only composers of novelty piano-style works in Australia.
Just charming…and lovely 😄👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😊👍👍
Wonderful stuff!
Charming is the word!
I don't believe I've seen Sefton Daly play before. Thank you for uploading this!
I was already imagining him playing Colour Scheme!
Thanks for sharing, Adam! Great to see him play!
Love the piano shop is called Adams Music
And it cuts off just as the boy is about to learn how to tie a bowline. I'll have to find the movie.
