The anthem has objectives for East African Countries, I hope Africa could unite and come up with one rule; term of office of the President so that our leaders don't stay in the office until Dementia settle.

We thank God ,for the revival of the East African Community with additional two countries Rwanda and Burundi. We are indeed proud to have this Federation of 136,000,000 million people.This is good for our economics in the region and sure way of improving on the livelihoods of the people through the same market.
I am proud of being an East African ,as we have a lot in common.The white man demarcated the boundaries,dissecting most of the tribes.i.e Masai in Kenya and Tanzania,Samia in Kenya and Uganda,Kuria in Kenya and Tanzania, Taita in Kenya and Tanzania,Rwandese in Banyarwanda,Uganda and Congo, Bakonjo and Bandandi in Congo, Bagishu in Uganda and Bukusu in Kenya,Pokot in Uganda and Pokot in Kenya,Sabiny in Uganda and Kalenjin in Kenya,Acholi in Uganda, Acholi in South Sudan, Alur in Uganda,Alur in Congo,Madi in Uganda,Madi in South Sudan,Kakwa in Uganda,Kakwai in Congo and South Sudan.Lugbara in Uganda,Lugbara in Congo etc What of intermarriages taking place all over? East Africa is one with the distinct groups of peopler as the Hamites,Nile Hamites,Nilotics,Bantu and Negro people. who are either pastoralists or cultivators.Somali's in Kenya and Somali's in Somalia.as another one big group.We are all EAST Africans.
