I converted 2 canteen pouches with padded inserts to hold camera lenses. Modded a camelback to attach to mine. The grenade pouch is perfect for a 22 channel radio. Attached a "D" ring to hang a camera or Nerf Blaster, depending on the weekend. Have much bigger plans for my thrifted Load Carrier.
I have 3 of them and I love them for backpacking and I usually will put a 3 day assault pack over top of it and I can carry a lot of stuff and it's very well balanced so it doesn't seem nearly as heavy. Dwayne
I was in the marines and have been using this gear for almost 15 years. Eagles industries is top notch and super inexpensive as well. Some other great brand Spector and Speciality defense systems both make great quality robust gear that’s affordable
I don't use the FLC I was issued because they're pretty stupid when you have a plate carrier or an IOTV that you use for training/deployment so I use mine as a fishing vest for when I'm in my kayak. keeps everything in easy reach and organized and they're meant to fit over IBAs or IOTVs which are bulky body armor vests, so I where it over my life jacket with no problems. just thought that would put that out there in case some guys are looking for a fishing vest for fly fishing, kayak/canoe fishing, or pond hopping/ creek fishing without carrying a bulky tackle box.
The flashback pouch fits 3 10 round sks stripper clips or when strap is adjusted fits 1 ar15 mag. I have one vest fitted with 10 flashback pouches on the front fits 300 round on stripper clips. I have two saw pouches , one on each side for misc stuff like food and tools. Then two canteens on the back with a buttpack. With room to spare on the chest area.
+Jesse Graham guess I should have mentioned that it was compared to a full plate carrier. Did not tink about that, but glad you mentioned it. Thanks for the input! I really appreciate it!
no problem, i just wanted to be clear on it. i prefer a belt system for training or hiking, you can use suspenders to balance the weight and there's nothing covering your core. also you can reverse the belt on the FLC to use over a carrier or larger vest.
+Jesse Graham good to know. I was just loving all of the attachment points as I could see them useful in many different ways. Good to know there is other options though. Thanks!
+sparky0288 just posted a link for used ones. They are still in great shape. The one I demoed is used so you can see the quality. You can also email her and she can order new ones too. I will also let her know in case it has not been updated. Thanks for letting me know!

Another cool use for one! Never thought of that, but thanks for watching and sharing!
Great video. Iv always found them a little useless because vests have molle to. But standalone use is good.
Nice setup!

Easy fast access to your equipment/esssentials when your bushwalking, hunting or just fucking lost.
If I don't get lost at least once, it hasn't been a great hike. All part of the fun.
looks like it's fit very loose around your back
Awesome video.. Smashed that like button for ya 👍
+Shiny Knife thanks dude! You rock!
How to make it ballistic?
Guns, gunsgunsguns! Oh, and amo.
sorry but just from my experience with them, they're surprisingly NOT breathable. it's still better than a full vest, just not as good as you'd think
