- I showed this to a few friends, and they told me it sounded nice, so I figured I'd upload it.
I wanted to do a cover of "And I Love Her" by The Beatles in the style Kurt Cobain plays it on the Montage of Heck home tapes album. Not sure how well it turned out, but here it is. Might private it soon lmao.
you have a very nice voice dude, great video! i think it's pretty interesting you play only with downstrokes, was it a conscious decision?
It actually was! It made the strumming sound a lot heavier. I was hitting the strings with my pick almost like slap bass in a way. It made it a lot more punchy!
Screw Cobain. The guy couldn't say a nice word about The Beatles without trashing McCartney, despite the fact he covered HIS song.
@@fshoaps That's fair, I also never got why he thought that way about Paul.
@@SirDylanPickle-v2 It’s because he bought into that silly sort of “John was the genius, Paul was the bore.” narrative that John himself spread around.
To be honest about everything I've been seeing lately points to the fact that he exhibited a lot of 'diva' behavior and could be a real asshole...Not my place to judge him but simply my observation... Definitely not trying to downplay his role in modern rock....RIP Kurt!!
