Monster Massey Sign Restoration Complete & Installed Ahead of Schedule

The massive monster Massey Services sign has been completely restored / refurbished / refitted and craned back up to it's spectacular spot atop the colossal Camping World Stadium in beautiful downtown Orlando, Florida - a week ahead of schedule!
Getting the job done for Massey was no easy task, and it involved every department of our company. Here's a quick run through of how we got from start to finish:
1) Remove the sign from 150' in the air and transport it back to the Media 1 / Wrap This facilities
2) Get the sign off the trailer and into the building
3) Dismantle the sign by: removing letters from the frame; removing retainers; removing acrylic faces; remove power supplies, wiring and LEDs
4) Pressure wash, sand, primer, paint high reflective white on the inside of the channel letters, paint & clear coat channel letters (blue) & retainers (gold)
5) Cut new acrylic faces on the CNC router table
6) Hand cut 30' x 3' acrylic face for "services inc" box
7) Apply 3M diffuser and blue 3M perforated vinyl to acrylic letter faces
8) Apply gold "services inc" 3M vinyl graphics to 30' face
9) Install new LEDs, wiring & power supplies
10) Mount refurbished letters to frame
11) Connect power supplies, test
12) Reassemble channel letters with faces & retainers
13) Move the sign outside and load onto trailer
14) Transport sign back to Camping World Stadium
15) Lift the sign by crane 150' in the air back to its location
16) Fasten the sign frame to the stadium structure
17) Complete wiring
18) Test and done!
The warranties that Akzo Nobel and Grimco/Hanley offer are insane, and we're confident that with the upgrades and refurbishment we've done to the sign... it won't need any attention from us for at least another 8 years!
