Hi, I was out yesterday in the north of Scotland hill walking, and at 910 Meters up on the mountain, I deployed my little Mavic mini. Once I had started it up, it lifted then almost immediately came back down. I tried having a look in the settings, changed a few things then tried again but it still went up then straight down, almost like it wasn't getting any lift under the props. Have you experienced anything like this with your Mavic mini? if yes how did you get around it? further testing later on once back down I tried it again and it was working fine. Nice video, by the way, music definitely goes well with the video you captured.
that might be because of a no flight zone i stood on highest point of sauerland also 900 meters high from sea level more then 1000 meters hight i had no trouble there is a map on the mavic mini wich shows the no flight zones if ur in a orange zone your hight is limited i got the standard mavic mini had no trouble above clouds neighter you might also wanna update the firmware when you start up the frone and controller in the app go to setting then about and update it both the map and the drone it fixes the warning bugs if you got that ready try again if it doesnt work let me know i could test some things out that might cause it but if its orange on the map you could forget it sadly unless you hack your drone but hacking your drone wil also cause crashes so i wouldnt recommend that

As I've been researching the Mavic mini and possible its bugs while contemplating whether or not I should splash the cash and get one so I can film in the Cairngorm mountains. Did you find out what the problem was and have you got it working in the mountains since?? Fancy bumping into a fellow Scottish hiking here in the youtube comments.
