Psych degree would help for masters in ABA for your BCBA cert. That’s a very uncommon and high demand degree that rarely anyone talks about. There’s roughly 60k BCBAs in the country and people wait years to get one for their services

Hey, thanks for the video. I've recently received my CS degree from WGU, and I've taken the GRE as well, performing very well on it (167 verbal, 170 math, 5.5 AWA). I live really close to GA Tech, and I figure I'll have no problem getting into their CS MS program (especially with my GRE score); however, I'm more interested in studying for a MS in Mathematics, being that I'm a pretty serious math hobbyist with a strong knowledge of the subject. Should I try to talk to the graduate admissions office about my situation and see how flexible they are? Or do you think that it would be best to just stick with CS? Of course, my concern lies in how few math courses there were in WGU's CS degree.

For job purposes I’d do the CS degree, but a CS Bachelors and Math Masters is still gonna land some really good careers. You might need to add calc 2, 3, linear algebra, etc to be approved for a Graduate Math Program.

@@alexsheppe Thanks for the fast response. Do you know of any way to complete higher level math courses without enrolling in some school's degree program? That's my main issue right now... my local colleges seem to only offer basic courses to students who aren't enrolled.

Can you go over , or do you know if you get a CS degree at WGU. Is it possible to get into a masters program for CE or EE. Like how difficult would that process be. I want to become an engineer but with my 2 year degree in CS now it would take me 3 years to complete a engineer program. But if I went to WGU and received my BS it would be more beneficial IMO to then go for masters vs the 3 year for a BS. Also upon my evaluation from a 2 year degree to WGU the credits that was transferred were very disappointing.

    • @alexsheppe

Honestly not sure if you can get into an EE Masters Program. Also if you need more credits to go into your wgu degree before you start, use ace credits such as study.com

@ThaColonel They are non profit and regionally accredited. It would be fine on a resume. The issue is the classes are not the greatest standard, plus it’s wayyyyy too expensive. WGU is way cheaper!

@ashiyabrown2968 There is a GPA on it, if they actually read the official transcript they would see WGU says their transcript is equivalent to a 3.0 GPA. I would appeal. And if they reject it, it’s not a school you want to deal with anyway.
