Oh man, you are still the absolute best. I have missed you and you crossed my mind. Lord is good and gracious and powerful and he is powerfully beautiful in you. Phil!
You’ve been inspiring this guitar player since I picked up the instrument in 1976. You still make me smile every time I see you play. Thank you, sincerely, for sharing your soul all these years, Phil!
One by one, one by one, one by one! Love that part. 👍👍 I’ve been fortunate to see Phil live five times, and I remember him doing this tune at Pepperdine University around 2000 and it was pure awesome. Love ya Phil!
Please post more videos. I love your channel. Age is just a number and you have the spirit and exuberance of a 25 year old musician. Don't let that feeling go.
That is one righteously talented dude! Been enjoying his gifting since early childhood in the 80s. I think it was an acoustic instrumental Christmas album from that era that just grabbed me. Praise God.
Thank You Phil! This has that beautiful “what a day” innocence and joy that we have always been so blessed by… we are so thankful for Christ in you brother! You are blessing!!
God created the guitar, then men kept it warm, perfecting it so one day the one for whom it was created would have it in perfect form, designed, created & perfected for this man; Phil Keaggy.
How on earth you have less than 5k subscribers is beyond me. I was first made aware of your work by my father in law who knew I liked playing guitar. I was a newborn Christian in 2001 when he showed me The Wind and the Wheat. That was another rebirth for me. A musical one for which I will forever be thankful. It was akin to what C.S. Lewis said about George MacDonald. It was a baptism of my musical imagination.
Finally, a new video. Thank you, Phil, I look at your channel often hoping that you will give us more. I just watched (again) Changes from 1972, I love how you guys meshed and John's lead vocal rocks. Anyway, back to today's rendition from Inseparable. How about Chalice? We love and appreciate you sharing your beautiful music. Maranatha, Mike
Very good very good. Amen and praise the Lord with your god-given talent. Really nice pickin. As a guitarist I hear many different styles all melted together. And I really like the lyrics of praise well said well said
As much as I've loved Phil's amazing skill on the guitar i have always been equally a fan of his voice. Just a pleasant, smooth voice. Also doesn't sound like anyone else. You hear it, you know it's Phil Keaggy.
This is phantastic and wonderful timing! We had a prayer service for Israel centered around Isaiah 40 the other night and I was telling some of the others about this song.

Fantastic... dedicated listener since 1978! Thank you!!!!!!!
Wow. Isaiah 40 with master guitar work. Somehow Phil Keaggy managed to combine two of my most favorite things in one beautiful expression.

Amazing... I can remember being at a Keaggy concert in the early 80s in Germany.

Phil is the boogie king and I'm building him some guitars right now. Phil if you get this message. I will be in touch with you soon

Phil has been most associated vocally with Paul McCartney and it it is quite obvious why.
@@richardthelionheart01 yeah for sure. I've heard that and heard him talk about it a few times since the 80's.
Thanks for doing these videos, Phil!

Two chords, a talent man and a beautiful song comes out!
I always appreciate your music, you rock man!
A jazz musician plays 300 chords to three people. A rock musician plays 3 chords to three hundred people.
Great Bro. Phil!!!!!! Cant Wait to see you in Nashville in July!!!!
Ooh yeah ! Still knocking it out of the park & bouncing it off of Pluto !!
Loved that! Singing the Word. Just think, the Creator watched Phil play that before creation. 😃
