Nice intro! After weeks of wearing the fēnix 7X Pro, yeah, it was too large, too heavy, and the solar charging was far too slow. Thanks for your review.
just for reference, what is the circumference of your wrist? I also want the 51mm because of its big battery, but I'm worried that it might be too big for me.
My wrist is 9 and a half inches, and the band just fits. I'm on my second band now, only because it came off while I was carrying a pig on my shoulders. Luckily the watch fell in my gumboot.
how's the quality of the quartz crystal, that one piece that keeps time? for example on a gbd200 its insane how accurate it is even after a month of not syncing the watch, time is still down to seconds. so how's for this fenix?
I have had the Fenix 5 / 6 / 7 x pro solar over the last 6 years. No doubt the BT is getting worse not better. The 5 worked fine, although super slow to load music or spotify, but not once in 2 years did the headphone signal drop. Reinstalling spotify when I tried a reset was a misery. The 6 was quicker, and occasionally a speaker/head phone issue but never enough to post about. The 7 has been ordinary out of the box. For the record I use top line Sony and Bose earbuds. It drops every two songs, no difference in location, use, etc. Am completely frustrated, whether in the gym or going for a run. Have checked updates, turning things on and off etc no joy. Really sad, only had the 6 weeks and yet to have an uninterrupted workout. The earbuds are fine with my phone, but am at the stage where I am thinking of returning the 7, I love everything else but it is a massive deal breaker not having music and having to carry a phone.
It's not a deal but your fault to go with the biggest model because you're a skinny guy. You should have chosen 42 mm version, it looks huge on your tiny wrist. I used to have Fenix 6X Pro for long time and it was quite comfortable for me. You need a smaller watch man.
This is a great video and i Agreed. His choice was too large. Any regular watch is fine but on a fitness watch that has a heart rate sensor you want it to fit right, not big.
Am the only one loves big watches? 🫡 Over time I noticed yh tiny watches don’t work for me I don’t it big rugged durable. I chose the enduro 2 perfect it’s never left my wrist part from shower, charging & sleep brilliant watch but look for a discount not worth paying full price 👍
I love Big watches easy to see easy to navigate and also stylish.. And you know Garmin is for serious people that really work out and use the watch unlike Apple when people just want to make a statement.. And also you got to have an apple device... Been doing research and am looking at the Fenix 7x Pro Solar Sapphire DLC with Titanium Vent Bracelet.. BEAST.. need to break the Bank BUT it's worth it.. GARMIN watches have actually been approved by the US Army where they get discounts if you are part of the military.. They that accurate and well functional that they have the Garmin Tactix 7..with Bolistics.. They are amazing watches.. Worth the price...
I just purchased the Garmin fenix 7x pro sapphire solar and it's all I need for work and for hiking when I can get out.

Such a great review! Thank you!!!
I have a quick question; being a lighter band then say the black, does it show dirt and scratches more easily?
Does it work Spotify for music??
yes, there is an app for the watch and you can pair most BT buds or headphones
is it support BP or Blood Pressure ?
How can I put a military time in local time

Keeps time just as efficiently as any other top brand
Which is better sir? Itong garmin or gt4?
Garmin no doubt... Way way better than Apple Watch and way better than the GT4...
@@peterchileshe9760 Price, price, vs capabilities, that's how let's evaluate.

The heart rate sensor sticks out way too far and is the most annoying thing about wearing this expensive watch ' they could of designed it much better
No, it doesn't
@@leonpatrick5606 really now ' so how long have you been wearing yours for then
I wonder if it will last more then 2 years, my fenix 6 saphire went into endless booting loop graveyard after 2.5 years.
Can you explain what that means?
You should contact Garmin; they're often helpful way after warranty ends.
It keeps on restarting
Huawei Watch 2e It still works today, and it's a cheap watch 😂😂😂

Why is it so expensive ?!what’s the difference between this and EPIX pro?!
displays. epix amoled display. fenix MIP display
at the same level, the Epix is more expensive
You're like wearing a wallclock.
That's too nice watch for Filipino 😂
Filipinos can have nice things :)
@TechLokal do fenix 7x pro support Asian language pack in the us?
