Could you do a video on how you store your spool and dsmb while diving? And how do you deploy a dsmb underwater? I've recently learnt the importance of always having a dsmb but am confused as some divers always have the spool and dsmb attached together while some others store them separately.
Love my Hydros Pro. When I first started I hated the closed in feeling of jacket style and pockets were never much use because of weights going inside them as you mentioned. This looks interesting just for the extra storage space, its too expensive though. Price will have to come down for people to buy it.
Hello Can I please get some advice on Atomic BC2 Backmounted BC Vest???
Just bought my first BC. It’s the mares Magellan, will be used for the first time tomorrow! I like scubapro very much but I was looking for a light travel BC but definitely the next one will be the hydros pro. Or a custom wing with backplate? That’s what I am not sure about, what would you prefer in that case?
The Magellan is great for a lightweight travel BCD so I wouldn't be swapping that out for anything else. For a tougher 2nd BCD or a replacement then I'd be looking at backplates. Don't rush into it though, spend some time looking around at brands and materials and seeing what other divers use.
@@SafeDiving Thanks for the Feedback! Todays dive and first look at the Magellan was awesome! Had much fun with it and surprisingly no issues with Trim after the 2nd dive. I am not very deep in those stuff yet, are you planning on some videos with some special brands or sth?
I have some cool stuff in the pipeline that I'm planning. My own channel gives me certain freedoms...
I’d just go with a backplate and wing (bpw) instead of the hydros. I have a hydros pro and while it’s a nice BC, I could have just went with a BC that was cheaper, much more modular, and arguably more durable.
You could probably buy a solid BPW and a tank or two for you to call your own for the price of a hydros if you shop around. Honestly, just typing this out makes me tempted to sell my hydros so I can “downgrade” to something like a Sidemount BC

Please Mark i need an answer for my question because i will gonna buy first gear so, I'm searching for a tough BCD can grow up with me can be multi adjustable can carry single and double tanks. So, does it scubapro hydros X can carry double tank??
My friend here in Egypt recommended zeagle ranger BCD or Scubapro Xblack as they both have the ability to do so. However, as i trust your videos and a big fan of you so recommend it for me and answer that question ?
