Young man, this is the most and I mean most, amazing setup I have ever seen in the six or seven years I have been watching these videos! If I were you I'd be selling these plans and ones that would be adaptable to a minivan, like the 2003 Honda Odyssey that I am trying to prepare! Congratulations on all that ingenuity that you have! 💜💜💜 I used to have a wonderful camper van, that I lived in for two and a half years and I wish I had never sold Tank 😥💜

This is not an SUV lol this is a tiny road home. The compartmentalization is insane. I’d get overwhelmed with the lack of open space but it’s really cool. I’ve been watching these a lot lately & I learn something new each video. Thanks for sharing!
If I ever found myself in a position where I would have to live in a van, this layout would work for me. I would have to paint the wood surfaces in order to brighten up such a small space, and I would definitely 86 the dishwasher. Other than that, this is a well thought out van. Good job!

That is a problem, I charge them when at destination in outlets and I get power to them when driving from the vehicle. I do want to buy solar panels here one day to extend the time I can be out. Will make a better more depth video of each part!
This is sick! Literally the best solo minivan build. No space wasted, but I'm quite apprehensive of cooking beside the bed that can absorb all the smell in the bed sheets and clothes. But I wish there were a version of this build for two people as well.
I haven't had a problem with smell. I watch a lot of people cook right onto of there bed in there car haha. Also I can fit two people in here but it is tight so better be close to who ever your sharing with. Will show more in the next video, thank you for the comment!

The dishwasher made me giggle 🤣🤣🤣 What a dude will do to get out of washing the dishes❗BRILLIANT. Really good job. My only change would be instead of the dishwasher add a cabinet to that area for storage. ALSO, add DAMPRID to control and get rid of moisture, you will need it.
"Here is the bed...and here is the DISHWASHER, two burner stove with an OVEN, here is the TRASH COMPACTOR, and the AIR PURIFIER........and...." hahaha..AMAZING! This was FABULOUS! 😁 WAY TO GO! I saw in another comment you said you didn't want to look lazy or wasteful. Dishwashers are actually very water efficient. And..you are in an SUV..so please do not feel any guilt over your VASTLY lower water consumption that 99.99% of people here in the U.S.! What an amazing setup! Super fun to watch! This is without a doubt the ONLY SUV I have ever seen with ANY of the above things included, and I imagine I have watched a few thousand of these videos. Kudos!

Thank you and yes I do travel with my girlfriend and we do both fit in the bed comfortable. It is tight but there is enough room without touching, will have to show how we are able to both fit.

Love it! Especially the dishwasher, who wants to wash dishes when they can relax?
Have to mention this, if you find mold or mildew growing in tight spaces (white, green, or other colors growing on surfaces, and off smells including a milky, or woodsy- earthy scent, not just moldy & musty) you can clean it up using UVC bulbs with or without ozone, fairly cheap on amazon and a clamp light fixture (less than $10 at wally world). Sometimes the problem needs to be exposed to the light for a 1/2 hour or longer to get the job done, be sure to leave the area, don’t look at the light, and if using ozone then don’t breathe the fumes. The bulbs have to have a quartz glass, not plastic, also look for the ones that have passed inspection and are returnable in case they don’t work (sometimes they don’t). This is a quick and painless way to deal w/moldy issues and not mess with bleach or other chemicals (I use them a lot living in an old house). I mentioned this because it looked like there was some white stuff in your computer storage area…tho it could have been reflective light ☺️…your set-up is too cool to let it pass without mentioning it, just in case it is.

Well done.. I have lived in vehicles even with another adult and 1 yr old for over a yr.. bravo to all your bells and whistles.. it really has to be a very simple life with everything having purpose that is in your zone. You have a comfortable situation..

I have watched 100's of tiny house builds. Off-road teardrop builds and so many suburban camper builds its crazy. This is the most equipt suburban I have seen. I built a off-road teardrop trailer from the ground up and a lot of people refused to believe it was a DIY. I am now building a 3/4 ton suburban for overlanding/off-roading/camping. I hope you dont mind but I plan on using a couple of your ideas. Great build. Thank you for sharing

I thought you said dishwasher, then thought nah, after you mentioned doing dishes in the sink, then blam! A dishwasher, a stove with oven, then fridge and freezer, oh wait on demand hot water, what more do you need? A toilet of course and full entertainment system. And to top it off built into a Cadillac! Sir that is class, Very nice! If you are going to do it, do it with style! Cadillac style!

Yes I do and there is a great story why! I used to own a magical sink, I kid you not! Ever single time I would put dirty dishes in the sink only to come back later to see them gone. I tried to explain this magical sink to my girlfriend but she didn't understand and just screamed at me. For the longest time I would put what ever I wanted in there no matter what it was and it would vanish. It was the most amazing thing to have, until disaster hit. My girlfriend must have been to close to the magical sink or something and she has now disappeared!! Its the only resendable explanation. Having a magical sink that will clean up all mess was the best thing in the world but knowing how dangerous it can be and may take another life I will forever now always let the machines handle it.

My HOUSE doesn't have a trash compactor and most of my adult life I haven't had a dishwasher. Wow- so smart- great job!
Your build is so freaking awesome. Where's your clothes, shoes, and personal hygiene stuff? Is there anyway for you to get dressed inside you SUV? Can you sit up in the bed? I think your setup looks awesome but I would need the front and back not to be closed off and I left one of my back seats in so I would have a place to sit up, bathe, use the bathroom, and watch TV. I saw you had a toilet but I don't see how you have the headroom to use it.
I have a suitcase that fits in right by my trash can that holds all my clothes. I have to learn a little forward to sit-up in my bed but I am able too. If I remove the 4 inches of memory foam from my bed and just sit on the wood I then have enough room. For the toilet its actually inset a little bit and I have room to sit on it without hitting my head. Will show a video more of each item soon. I would love to have a swivel set for my passenger chair but I found it not feasible for my setup.

Of course a Cad Escalade camper build includes a stove & oven, fridge & freezer, computer, monitor, DVD player, AND A TRASH COMPACTOR & DISHWASHER!!! OMG, man! Where's the spa bath? NOBODY has a dishwasher in their builds! Your Escalade totally rocks! Though I'm A bit nervous about the bed and stove being so close. And I am assuming that you fit through the opening into the cab, for those emergency takeoffs. Ahhh, to be young, flexible and slender.
I am down with the Jackerys. I love mine. I cannot tell you how much it helps during a power outage. I need to get a solar panel for it and I'd like to have a bigger one too. Of course, your power goes out, you just move into the Escalade!
I tremble to think of what you would build with a Sprinter or Promaster! You probably WOULD install a full spa, complete with live in masseuse!
I love this build! I think that your solutions and designs are brilliant! And the dishwasher! But where is the washer/dryer combo? Oh, next build. The only suggestion I have is loading your movies on the computer, so you don't need the DVD player or DVDs. I already know you have the emergency pack of duct tape, shovel, zip ties, construction grade garbage bags, glue and scissors. Though someone did tell me that gorilla tape is better...but I'm old and, in some ways, a traditionalist.
