I lived in a van for a year, held a full time job and have a dog. It was so nice to be able to let my dog out on break and a short walk on lunch. At the end of my day I would walk my dog for at least an hour, hit gym for shower, get supplies if needed, feed dog and cook for myself, clean up and take a after dinner walk. On the weekends I would find a campground or state park that had daily passes and spend my time with nature. Just because I didn’t live in a house , apartment ect,I never considered myself homeless.
This looks like a good setup for homeless people who have jobs but no house of their own. A roof over the head, a place to lie down and sleep after a hard day's work and especially a place to pee and poo during an emergency in the middle of the night. These are the true essentials of living.
The point of this alternative lifestyle is not considered homeless. Homeless is someone who is on the streets or living in a dwelling in which is not theirs and they prefer not to be there and prefer to have a sticks and bricks dwelling. People who purposely live on the road intentionally are not homeless. Also, homeless has a stigma and negative connotation to it, and it was created by people to put other individuals down and make them, be deemed as a lesser individuals. You don’t need a home to be considered a value society and just because you don’t have conventional living doesn’t make your alternative style of living, not as comfortable or not as desirable.
@MIXEDSENSE Don't be too hard on the opposing viewpoint. 🙂 They probably only mean it in the typical sense. However, I agree with you. Nomads are a different breed. They have a productive life ethic and live responsibly. No drugs, along with careful waste disposal. I accidentally stumbled across these videos a few months back and find them addictive. Be well. 😀
I have the VTOMAN 1500x jumpstart and at is a great idea that you did there with the extension cord so it can reach back into your sitting area. Thank you for the tip!
Thank you so much for going into more detail about your setup! It's really great for newbies who might find car camping intimidating 🙂 I'm a fairly new car camper and have followed a few different car/van life channels but never heard of collapsible toilets, so that's good to know! 😁
It has been several months, so I am curious what worked, what you changed and what you no longer carry. It looks like you covered the basics. I only live out of my vehicles for vacations, travel and times I take a retreat to recharge, but my "Rig", has definitely evolved over the years. Thank you for taking the time to create this video.
To keep the usb water faucet steady, use a detergent lid!! The large bottles of liquid clothes detergent have a lid that fits inside the faucet perfectly. Screw the top upside down onto your wooden tray, then drill a hole in the side of the lid for the water tube. Pop your faucet on top.
Thanks for taking the time to show things up close and slowly. Just the kind of set up I'm looking for.i would suggest darker curtains if you're looking for privacy.
Thank you for recommending Porta potty😅 I have been researching what kind to get for quite a while! It's something all car campers need. I was wondering what you would suggest for cooking, a skillet, a wok, stainless steel Pots & pans etc
What a very neat set up. Everything in its place and everything so needed. Congrats to you and happy days. Used to love camping but too old now, with 2 knee and 1 hip replacement….I truly envy you. Maybe in my next life. God bless you always.
Love the new set up with wicker basket that adds a place to hang utensils! Brilliant! I gotta try again to hang my curtains with binder clips. My binder clips keep sliding out 😂. Maybe my curtain rods are too heavy. Anyway another great video. Thank you !
I am very impressed by all your gadgets! But I don’t understand why the collapsible toilet has a see through lid? Is it so you can see what you did in 4K?
Is that black electrical tape around the borders and on the back of each window covering or black masking tape or what is it? For it seems to stay tight and easy to remove.
Cute. But one thing i would suggest is making more of the bubble wrap window covering and lose the curtains. I say this because if you have lights on at night they will be see through. Kinda like a tent and shadow can be seen from outside.
Get a sleeping bag liner, most fit over the pads. I use them all the time because I have a Big Agnes (expensive) inflatable sleeping pad and protects it from my dog’s nails, just make sure you look at measurements but most will fit perfectly providing your pad is average size.
This is awesome I love it but could you please create a storefront or link all the items you use/what physical stores you get them from with the prices listed? 🙏🏽
Ok I was just browsing car camping videos and stumbled into ASMR. You’ve managed to combine two of my favorite things! I enjoyed watching your set up AND I had tingles the whole time! 😍🥰🚙
Može se koristiti i puno jeftinije proći sa manje para a opet imati osnovne stvari za boravak u autu.Uostalom onaj tko ima para ima i stan ili kuću za život.
Why not use window shields for all of the windows? The curtains created a claustrophobic interior. Setting up the toilet and the bed were the best part of this video. All over, way too much time setting up time for camping.
Might be a no build set but way too much stuff, sorry but I could never understand why go camping to have everything lit up like a Christmas tree wasting battery and all those lights around others who enjoy stargazing and the lights get on the way.
Awesome videos ... Just wondering why you hide your BEAUTIFUL FACE all the time.. n also if you could back out in your vids.. view wise... Miss ALOT of what's going on.. UR DOING A GREAT JOB.. *Keep up the great vids..
I agree, I guess without language everyone can understand but i find it tedious watching in silence when a simple explanation could also speed things up instead of watching every step unfold. But she is appealing to a wider audience.

LOVE your "no talking" demo. Close ups and long-range views help us to assimilate the product's usefulness for our situations.
I love that nothing has to be permanently converted. Perfectly for the owner to change or repair without needing the help or cost of a professional!

OMG !! I love the idea you used - the green piece of bendable plastic to keep the water dispenser from falling over!!
Thank you for always watching my videos.😍

Hi, There is a restroom at the campsite, but I haven't used it yet. It's in the car for emergencies.
Love the water set up & toilet
The best car camp setup i have seen. Thanks

We are about to begin our truck bed build 2.0 so I'm watching your videos for ideas.
I've had the worst day today. Your vid saved it! Thanks...

love it! simplicity and creativity are the best!. Thank you! I will prove your solutions in my next holiday in the Como Lake, Italy!
Awesome! Thank you👌😀

Love this! Where do you put your clothes? So cute❤

So cozy and girly ❤❤❤
Thank you for the step by step!
Is that black electrical tape around the borders and on the back of each window covering or black masking tape or what is it? For it seems to stay tight and easy to remove.
Many great ideas! Thank you.
Another great video. Thank you ❤

Girl you did a fabulous job, we learned from your set up.
Great set up! I'd love to know what you think of the flextail once youve had a chance to test it out a bit
I'm pretty sure I spotted a bee while you were collapsing the toilet! lol Awesome setup!
Where can we find the sheet you use with the sleeping pad?
It's DIY, I can't find sheets the size of my mattress.
Get a sleeping bag liner, most fit over the pads. I use them all the time because I have a Big Agnes (expensive) inflatable sleeping pad and protects it from my dog’s nails, just make sure you look at measurements but most will fit perfectly providing your pad is average size.
Sarah, can you please share your curtain rod link? Thank you, I am really enjoying your channel.

Hi, great video! What is the small sachet to put in the plastic of the collapsible toilet?
What is the light that you post pink things into?
This is awesome I love it but could you please create a storefront or link all the items you use/what physical stores you get them from with the prices listed? 🙏🏽
Very nice! Thank you for sharing 🤠🇨🇦🚐
Love the ASMR. Great video
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it.😊
Adorable!!! I love it!
Wow! Great video! I subscribed for more ❤🧡
What make / model SUV are you camping in?
My car is a Hyundai Santa Fe🚗😀
@@SarahLeeVlogs Thank you! I love your videos.
Love your ideas and creativity 🤩 GBU
Great idea. What do you do when you are driving and have to break! I sure as hell would not like to put this together at camp, quicker to put a tent.
Thinking the same, if you have to go get ice etc you have to brake camp, a tent is way easier.
I love your set up and will try it! Thank you for the video!
Up until I started watching all these, no-build conversions 2 weeks ago ... I would have said, "No way!"
Absolutely brilliant
Where did you get the tray? And love the size of the basket. What size did you get at home goods? So i don't get a tray that is too big. Thank you
brilliant idea! Simple but the best
Nice! Where do you store your clothes and coat etc? Your luggage on top of your SUV in a cargo box?
Hi, thanks for watching.😊 There is storage space under the floor of the car trunk.
Where do I find a sheet to cover the self inflating mattress from REI. I like the elastic piece to keep it in place
The mattress cover in my possession is a self-constructed item😀
what duct tape did you use for the reflectix? just black duct tape?
Yes, I put black duct tape on the reflectix.
Amazing! Thanks for sharing your ideas
How do you keep your stuff from rattling when driving?
If you leave a ruffle at the top of your curtains, there won't be a gap 4 light to shine over.
Anyone know how to charge phone, fan, mini fridge in a suv? I’m just curious
Very nice! Thanks for sharing this
Very nice video. Thanks
Thank you too😀
I have been looking for a simple camping toilet to use. I think the one you showed looks great.
What vehicle is this and how long is the space of the bed? I'm 6' and most of these conversions I don't fit. Thanks for the great ideas.
My car is a Hyundai Santa Fe.😀
What year?
Cool little setup. Looks awesome. The sink plastic is nice, but i doubt its keep in place :)
Very well done!
Was your power bank expensive
Can you post the exact basket link and tray ? Or measurements of the basket ?
I can't find the tray because it was bought a long time ago. The basket is from Homegoods and measures 19"x13"x9".
Really cool!!
thanks you so much 🙏
窗子遮光板,剪裁後, 妳加上黑邊。 更好了。

Very interesting ideas, but need some expalination , though !,
Thanks for sharing !
You have fantastic things! By the time I bought all the gadgets you have I could have spent a month sleeping in a hotel for the same price! Ha
Turning an SUV into a camper? Is there a secret recipe for making it look this cozy?
Excellent
Thank you so much 😀
Wow

Love your ideas and your videos but it will be a million years before I risk falling into my own poop sitting on that flimsy plastic toilet thing 😂
They are shockingly sturdy! You'd have to jump on it from height to maybe break it. It's all in the design!
Not to fund of the mosquito repellent. Probably not good for your health in a closed up small space.
Sorry, I'm not a knowledgeable car person...what kind of SUV is that?
Great ideas! More helpful if you were able to speak so as to tell us about your ideas
Thank you for watching my video.
