individual stocks have been what has generated a good part of profits to my portfolio, I invested 110K in a diverse portfolio of stocks, ETFs, grade bonds through an investment advisor & made about 290k in a couple of months, but guess what? I re-invested and it compounded even more, hopefully I get to a million soon.

I love the overall message of the video. However if you are starting with a small amount of money like one thousand please do not diversify with 20 different stocks you will lower your returns to pretty much nothing unless they all go up. At most pick 5 good stocks that are in different sectors. Diversification is a strategy to protect your money not grow it.... when you have over 100K invested then diversification is great but not when you start off...

Not exactly. Any index fund (like VUSA S&P500) will be significantly diversified across the largest companies, and still produce healthy returns. The amateur investor is likely to make pitiful returns on their own portfolio.

My concern is that unless your broker charges no commission on buying stocks, the cost of buying a stock at less than one share is not really worth it. For dividend stocks, my recommendation is to only buy stocks where you have enough capital to purchase at least 100 shares. Otherwise the cost will likely exceed any profit you gain from buying those dividend stocks.

@@WhatsThePlanSG that’s easy you set that up as an option in your brokerage account. The money gets reinvested by buying a partial share of your holding

Most experienced traders like Mr Elvis Hercules, would prefer to get the proper skills to analyze price charts in order to make their own trading decisions, but many traders, especially amateur traders, are still wondering really whether they accelerate their successful trading using only signaling services, don't get me wrong. If we take a close look at some of the main reasons people cannot make money investing / trading online. whether it is trading stocks, binary options, forex or cryptocurrencies, you will find that the problem is that traders are lazy and too dependent on signaling services, and also do not understand the trade before starting it. Great video, but I’m curious why you chose 14 different stocks instead of focusing on just 2 or 3? Seems like some of these stocks are pretty stable with there return and growth and you could only pick the best performers, diversifying the rest of your portfolio into growth stocks. I have not done my research on each stock, but if you were buying for best portfolio returns shouldn’t you cut a few of those low returning stocks out?

Big Note on here, DPR is a poor rubric without looking at the financial statements. You could have 2 companies, both showing 20Mil Net income, but one reinvested 80Mil into the company over the course of the year and issued 20Mil in dividends showing 100% DPR while the other company could have issued 10Mil in Dividends while only reinvesting 5Mil over the year, showing 50% DPR. Which one looks like the better investment now?
