    do not make the mistake of thinking the market will produce favorable result fast to you , stay in the game with consistency persist and effective risk management of an expert trader WILL be advisable . or if your in for the long term losses before you master the market still a good choice hard ways pay also.

    Thank you very much for the explanation on dividends. Best explanation I have seen so far :). And, thank you for using the pictures of the the stocks. I never could read the business info ( all the numbers with all the financial Jargon under the ticket symbol). This gave me a great basis on how to look at the info. And lastly, thank you for explaining what is good and what is bad; you used adjectives like "modest" and "healthy" do describe the numbers. I struggle on the concept of is this 'good or bad' when people mention numbers without an explanation lol

    I love the overall message of the video. However if you are starting with a small amount of money like one thousand please do not diversify with 20 different stocks you will lower your returns to pretty much nothing unless they all go up. At most pick 5 good stocks that are in different sectors. Diversification is a strategy to protect your money not grow it.... when you have over 100K invested then diversification is great but not when you start off...

    Hi Humphrey. Thanks for the videos! If I were planning to build a portfolio for the purpose of dividends, do you recommend paying attention on when to buy? Should I wait to buy “lower” or just buy different shares in different companies whenever, since the main target would be collecting dividends? Thanks!

      There's a study that says lump sum investing usually beats out dollar cost averageing like 55-60% of the time, I forgot where that study is - it's from Harvard though. If you're buying for the sake of dividends and the long term, you could buy all at once and not feel too bad about it.

      Since he didn’t answer, just wanted to pop in and say yes. Dividend reinvesting means you’re basically buying more of the stock, and as dividends are paid per share, you’re increasing dividend payout because you’re increasing the amount of shares you own.

      Most experienced traders like Mr Elvis Hercules, would prefer to get the proper skills to analyze price charts in order to make their own trading decisions, but many traders, especially amateur traders, are still wondering really whether they accelerate their successful trading using only signaling services, don't get me wrong. Signals are good, especially if you find the right one, but it would also be wise if traders can analyze price charts positively and accurately and good trading results. If we take a close look at some of the main reasons people cannot make money investing / trading online. whether it is trading stocks, binary options, forex or cryptocurrencies, you will find that the problem is that traders are lazy and too dependent on signaling services, and also do not understand the trade before starting it. So just in case it is best if traders, especially those who are still learning and practicing trading, should know these tips before entering any online investment scheme: 1. Use a signaling service. ... 2. Learn to use technical indicators. . 3. Trade stocks before trading binary options trading security. .. 5. Buy options of the right length for your trading style. For additional tips and trading strategies that can bring you $ 20-40 thousand per 4. Track your performance for each option month, contact him by mail, as He is ready to show interested traders, both beginners and professionals, how to trade with confidence and achieve success. .. and amateurs how to trade confidently and make good profits using strategies that fetches $ 20k$ 60k per month. elvishercules48@gmail.com))

    Hello, I love the videos and the information provided, keep it up.
    I just got into investing around March of this year and I am really curious about all things divided related. I want to gear probably 80-90% of my portfolio (on Robinhood) toward them with maybe a few stocks here and there for individual growth if I can get in early enough.
    My question for you is: what are your thoughts on investing in almost exclusively ETF’s based on dividends (SCHD, VEA, SPHD, DGRO, NOBL and VYM are the ones I own or am watching) vs buying individual stocks that offer dividends and needing to worry about cuts and individual stock losses and news?
    Would my thinking of buying mostly into these and maybe some other non-dividend focused ETF’s with a few small exceptions be a good idea or is there something I am not considering?

    • @humphrey
      @humphrey  3 роки тому +1

      It's a fine strategy I'd say! The thing with dividend ETFs is that you don't get to be as granular with the companies that are provided within them, but some people are OK with that. Personally, I just like picking individual dividend stocks because I like doing the research. What you described is more of a passive investing strategy, but one that is still going to be well diversified.

Great video, but I’m curious why you chose 14 different stocks instead of focusing on just 2 or 3? Seems like some of these stocks are pretty stable with there return and growth and you could only pick the best performers, diversifying the rest of your portfolio into growth stocks. I have not done my research on each stock, but if you were buying for best portfolio returns shouldn’t you cut a few of those low returning stocks out?

    • @humphrey
      @humphrey  3 роки тому +9

      That’s a good point. I think most younger investors or investors with higher risk tolerances can just concentrate into 2-5 dividend stocks and put the rest into their growth stocks

    I'm curious about the Dividends Stock and how to know when to buy the stock according to its price and the dividend payout. For example if the Stock Price falls, would that be a good time to buy into a company like AT&T. The trend for the past 5 years has been falling however they would still pay the dividend displayed in this video? Would you want to buy a stock when its low to pocket the dividend?

I don’t have much money to play around with right now because I’m trying to save for my 3 month emergency savings however I’m hearing a lot of people talk about these Treasury I bond now. I’m new to understanding stocks as of last month. I was going to maybe put in $1,000 in the I bond or would you suggest I put that in individual stocks or focus on my savings. I didn’t want to miss out on the 9.7% for the I bond. I know that % can change but I also know it’s safe. Any advice?
