- I found this ATS 7.62x39 brass cased ammo while checking out deals from Optics Planet.
The price was very agreeable to my budget, so I had to pick up a few boxes to try it out.
Individual boxes of 7.62x39 and 5.45x39 have dried up from the big box stores in my area, so I am trying to find the best deals without having to miss a car or tractor payment, because of ammo scalpers and "have to buy a case", as the price is steadily going up on Com-bloc steel cased 7.62x39.
Capitaine Jaques' family makes a cameo in my video. 🦚 Trust me, it was NOT planned.

Just FY, these are Boxer primed.
@praktikalnurse504 I still have a huge stockpile of x39 from when iy was cheap, and it's all sp and hp from barnaul that's lacquered and sealed, so I'm not worried about reloading for the caliber, at the moment I'm already doing 223, 270, 308, 243, 9mm, .40 s&w so I don't think I'm adding to that lol. I also stocked up on a ton of 223 barnaul sp and hp, and I have a fair bit of m80 lying around. I saw the writing on the wall and stacked up when it was cheap and plentiful.
ATS is Macedonia's new military ammo manufacturer after joining NATO. Ammo does look a lot like PPU.
Looks like Privi Partisan with that sealant. Serbia does border Macedonia. When you finished loading that mag the turkey gobbled almost as if planned.
@colby7625 they gobble with every shot. They like to hang out at the range with me, so I have to put them in the pen when I make videos. Didn't stop the PeaGlocks this time, though. 😂😂😂

It's been happening to streamers of all genres for the past few days. I'll had to turn comments on, twice, on one video. But that was the only one for me.
Never heard of this brand. Works good! I have steel case with non magnetic RAS, and maybe some Wolf(?) Can't remember if I got some Belom brass. Thanks Johnny!

O yes I reload 7.62x39mm all the time I use
A2230 and it works nicely I reload
Heavy rnds in 556 with it like 75 77g otm bn working on 73g eld,-m I got it perfect 👌.
That looks like nice ammo, but my rifle has never tasted brass before 😂
#wymonwatson mine didn't either until the cheap steel combloc stuff stopped coming in, and then the ammo scalpers were charging outrageous prices for it.
Just bought a case of 1080 for $560, pretty good ammo wish there were a steel cased option but this works good too.

For reloading tools and manuals, do you have recommendations? I might buy bulk brass 7.62x39 and start loading my ammo
@pyrowolf681 I haven't gotten into reloading yet for a few reasons.
As a nurse who works in the emergency department, I have seen the results of a bad reload, and there are way too many distractions, and too much maintenance going on to have the time to really get into reloading. It is something I want to do as I watch a few of my range friends doing it, but for right now, I am content with finding the beat deals and keep stacking what works.

When it comes to budget prepping, most of us don't care what type of primer it has. However, since this brass cased, it's a good question. I couldn't find on the ATS website what type of primer they use.

using paper targets or you missing lots?
@GetTonedFitness I will alternate between the 3 steel silhouette targets and the paper target to add a 4th silhouette, and when I use the Primary Arms 3x optic I will go for the "glory stopper" gong target.

Not a reloader at all due to time restraints (job, sole proprietor of the farm, etc), that's why in video I said "one of these days".
I did discover it's Boxer primed.
