Hello man. This is a Beatles tribute Band and not a Beatles Avatar. Important is the perfect Beatles Sound. Believe me I saw a few Help! Tribute concerts
Umm the Fab Four are NOT avatars, they are human beings that play the beatles to the T. They dress up as them, look very close and sound amazing. The bass player learned to play left handed bass just to play the part even better as he is a right handed player to begin with. The man that plays John Lennon looks identical and they play all their parts to perfection in their performance, I'm not saying these guys don't sound good but when you get time, type in Fab four tribute band, you will see what I mean, even Gavin, the man who plays George comes from Liverpool and looks alot like him, it's actually insane how good they are, no joke!
My guess is they went with whoever had the vocal range. They weren’t a purist tribute band for sure, most of the tempos on the faster numbers were too fast. But they gave it a good effort.
I looked over that "Paul" wasn't playing left handed because it's hard to find a left handed "Paul" bass player, a lot of tribute bands have that problem but having the wrong Beatles singing the wrong lead? If you're going to do the costumes and the look at least make an effort in the performance. 5 out of 10 for the effort. @@brendencarlson5220
@@barryk1701 I get you. The costumes kinda make one expect certain people to sing lead. I used to be in a band with my brother in the 80s…I was quite young, but it was a good experience. He’s quite a bit older than me so all the songs we did were from the 60s, largely the Beatles catalogue, but we did other bands from that time period as well. We wore black vests and ties like the Cavern era, but we didn’t do strictly Beatles. We just went with whoever could come closest on vocals and/or lead guitar parts. But then again we weren’t going for a “look”, this of course was back when the Beatles were passé and tribute bands weren’t as big a deal. I’ve heard Beatles bands that offer an audio experience rather than an imitation of the band, and some are quite good. My biggest beef with these guys is the tempo.
@@RolfWentzler Some of the numbers they covered were quite a bit faster than the recordings, or even some of the Beatles live versions. I think that’s what he meant. Beethoven was way fast as was I Saw Her Standing There. And, I’m not sure why the drummer was driving the tempo so fast during the chorus of All My Loving.
Yes, BUT, he did keep up with that too fast tempoed version of Long Tall Sally and managed to do the final Ringo drum cascade on the kit for the last measure without losing time, which is admirable.
However, the biggest timing blunder in my opinion was the chorus of All My Loving…I mean it sounds like the rest of the group is trying to slow him down…he’s just pushing that tempo way too fast.
I hate to sound like Mr. mustacho, but god, can there be a rule that only native English speakers are allowed to play the roles? I don’t want to see some pole up there trying to be Lennon.

Why is "Paul" singing the lead on I Feel Fine?

also they should have had the Paul impersonator sing lead he has a way better voice than the John Lennon impersonator
